38BITUMINOUS MACADAM:--Providing and laying bituminous macadam using crushed aggregate of Grading 1, premixed with bituminous binder, transported at site with Vehicle Tracking System (VTS), laid over a previously prepared surface, finished to the required grade ,level, alignment, and rolling to achieve the desired density for 80/100 mili metre compacted thickness with drum mix type hot mix plant with SCADA having complying essential features of Hot mix plant as per Indian Road Congress-27 2009 specified conditions and attachments such as electronic load sensor based belt conveyers, automatic synchronization of bitumen and aggregate fedder,built in dust controller system and PLC for Drum Mix plant ,Sensor paver, and Vibratory roller excluding prime/Tack coat etcetera complete --Bitumen 3.30% of specified grade (VG-30 bulk bitumen rates are considered to arrive at rates)
39Open Graded Premix Surfacing- Providing and Laying Open Graded Carpet 20 mili metre thickness composed of 13.2 mili metre to 5.6 mili metre aggregates premixed with bituminous binder transported to site with Vehicle Tracking System (VTS), laid over a previously prepared surface, finished to the required grade, level, alignment, and rolling to achieve the desired compaction but excluding prime / tack and Seal coat. 43Providing and laying in-situ M-40 Grade unreinforced plain cement concrete pavement over a prepared sub base with 43 grade cement, coarse and fine aggregate (Natural Sand/ VSI grade finely washed crushed sand) conforming to IS 383, using fine and coarse aggregates combined gradation as per Table 600-3 of MORTH Specification 2013, mixed in a batching and mixing plant/ non tilting mixer and Weigh batcher as per approved mix design, admixtures, transporting to site, spreading, laying with approved make paver, compacted and finished in a continuous operation, finishing to lines and grades as directed by Engineer-in-charge and curing by curing compound /by providing cement vata in cement Mortar 1:8 @0.6 metre X 0.6 metre centre to centre, admeasuring 80 mili metre at bottom and 40 mili metre at top with depth of 75 mili metre and maintaining the same throughout curing period by any other method approved by Engineer-in-charge.
44Providing and fixing in position Thermo Mechanical Treated (TMT) FE 500, 25 mili metre diametre dowel bars precoated with anticorrosive epoxy paint of required diametre 60 centi metre Long and at 30.00 centi metre centre to centre and wherever directed including handling, straightening, necessary cutting supported by Thermo Mechanical Treated (TMT) FE 500, chairs with proper alignment by using properly designed assembly of Bulkheads lubricating half length with bituminous paint as directed etcetera complete.

51Supplying and Fixing of Molded Shank Raised Pavement Markers / Cat's Eye made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 Kilogram tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to Specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No RW/NH/33023/10-97 DO III Dt 11.06. 1997. The height, width and length shall not exceed 50 mili metre, 100 mili metre and 102 +/- 2 mili metre and with minimum reflective area of 13 Square centi metre on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35 +/- 5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19 +/- 2 mili metre and height not less than 30+/- 2 mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kilogram Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer's recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer. The contractor shall submit a two year warranty for satisfactory field performance including stipulated retro-reflectance of the reflecting panel, to the Engineer.
