Name of Work:- TENDER ENQUIRY FOR FINALISING THE CONTRACT FOR STANDING ORDER FOR CARRYING OUT BALANCE FOUNDATION AND MISCELLANEOUS CIVIL WORKS AT HBLS INTEGRATED SUGAR PLANT AT LAURIYA, WEST CH ARAN, BIHAR.

3Earthwork excavation for foundations, pits, plinth beams, etc. below 2.10 m up to 3.50 m depth existing ground level in all types of soil excluding hard rock, including dressing and leveling of sides and bottom, dewatering/bailing out of water if encountered, providing necessary shoring and strutting, and disposal of surplus excavated earth within or outside HBL premises to an approved/unobjectionable location as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, including spreading, watering, leveling and compaction complete in all respects.The rate shall include all labour, tools & tackles, equipment, lead, lift, royalties and incidental charges complete.
4Excavating trenches by mechinical / manual means of required width for pipes, cables, etc including excavation for sockets, and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, for all depth, including getting out the excavated soil, and then returning the soil as required, in layersnot exceeding 20 cm in depth, including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, etc. and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m :

10Supply and filling of approved local river sand in plinth, foundations, under footings, around foundations, trenches, etc. in layers not exceeding 200 mm compacted thickness, including conveying, spreading, watering, ramming, compacting, consolidating and dressing to required levels, grades and densities complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.The rate shall include cost of sand, loading, unloading, transportation, royalty, all leads and lifts, labour, tools & tackles, equipment and all incidental charges complete.Measurement for payment shall be based on compacted volume.
11Providing and laying Plain Cement Concrete (PCC) in leveling course of nominal mix 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 Coarse Sand : 8 Graded Stone Aggregate) using 40 mm and down graded stone aggregates, including batching, mixing, conveying, laying, compacting with mechanical vibrators, finishing to required line, level and slope, curing, and all necessary formwork/shuttering complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.The rate shall include cost of all materials, labour, machinery, tools & tackles, water, curing, formwork, all leads and lifts and incidental charges complete.Measurement for payment shall be based on finished concrete volume.
12Providing and laying Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) of M25 grade Design Mix with minimum cement content of 360 kg/cum, using 20 mm and down graded machine crushed stone aggregates, in footings, pile caps, rafts, pedestals, columns, walls, plinth beams, curbs, equipment foundations, trenches, drains, Slab (excluading grade slab) and other RCC works, including batching, machine mixing, conveying, placing, vibrating with mechanical vibrators, tamping, compacting, finishing, curing and rendering of concrete surfaces wherever required, complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.The design mix shall be got approved from the Consultant/Engineer-in-Charge based on necessary laboratory testing of materials and trial mixes before commencement of concreting work.The rate shall include cost of all materials excluding reinforcement steel, labour, machinery, tools & tackles, admixtures if required, all leads and lifts, and providing, erecting and dismantling of necessary centering, shuttering/formwork using steel/plywood shuttering with staging, scaffolding, bracing, supports, chamfers, fillets, surface preparation, hacking of concrete surfaces to receive plaster/finishes and all incidental works complete.Reinforcement steel shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item.Measurement for payment shall be based on finished concrete volume.

18Providing, laying, spreading and compacting Granular Sub Base (GSB) over prepared sub-grade using graded stone aggregates conforming to Grading Zone V or VI of Table 400-1 of latest MORTH Specifications, with aggregate size 75 mm and down graded, complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.The work shall include preparation of sub-grade, supply and transportation of approved materials to site for all leads and lifts, spreading in uniform layers of 125 mm to 150 mm compacted thickness, watering, mixing, grading and compacting with suitable vibratory/power rollers of minimum 10 tonne capacity including dry rolling and wet rolling to achieve specified compaction and density as per MORTH specifications.The item shall also include dressing to required line, grade, camber and levels, making up depressions/settlements by adding approved material, re-rolling wherever required and all operations necessary for proper completion of Granular Sub Base work complete in all respects.The rate shall include cost of all materials, loading, unloading, transportation, labour, machinery, rollers, water, tools & tackles, quality control tests, all leads and lifts and incidental charges complete.Measurement for payment shall be based on finished compacted volume.
19Construction of Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) by providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded crushed stone aggregates using 53 mm and down graded aggregates conforming to MORTH Specifications, mixed with 2% Ordinary Portland Cement by weight of aggregate, complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.The work shall include proportioning and mixing of aggregates with water at Optimum Moisture Content (OMC) in approved mechanical wet mix plant, transportation of mixed material to site in tippers, conveying to mechanical paver, laying over previously prepared surface to required thickness, line, grade, camber and alignment, compacting with 8–10 tonne vibratory roller/power roller to achieve minimum 98% of maximum dry density as per specifications including dry rolling and wet rolling.The item shall also include preparation of surface, edge protection of WMM layers, correction of irregularities, making up depressions/settlements with additional material and re-rolling to achieve specified finish and compaction complete in all respects.The rate shall include cost of aggregates, cement, water, loading, unloading, transportation, labour, machinery, wet mix plant operations, paver, rollers, lighting arrangements, maintenance of diversion roads if required, royalties, seigniorage charges, approvals from mining/applicable authorities, quality control tests, all leads and lifts and incidental charges complete.The work shall be executed in accordance with latest MORTH Specification Clause 406 (4th Revision) and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Measurement for payment shall be based on finished compacted volume.
20Providing and laying in position ready mixed or site batched Design Mix Cement Concrete of M30 grade for pavement/road works using coarse and fine aggregates derived from natural sources, Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) / Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC) / Portland Slag Cement (PSC), and approved admixtures in recommended proportions conforming to IS:9103 for improving workability, durability and setting characteristics without impairing strength, complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge in panels using slotted ms channel shuttering of depth equal to the thickness of the pavement with required stiffness and fixing arrangement to keep them in position and enable to resist horizontal pressure of concrete, machine mixing, vibrating with screed board vibrator, pond curing for 14 days, vacuum dewatering, finished with power troweling concreting and surface texturing as per latest specification The concrete shall have minimum cement content of 350 kg/cum and shall be designed to achieve the specified strength and durability requirements. The work shall include batching, machine mixing, transportation, pumping/placing of concrete at site, laying, compacting with mechanical vibrators, curing, carriage for all leads and lifts and all operations necessary for completion of pavement concrete work complete in all respects.The item shall also include rate shall also include providing approved quality polythene paper (minimum 125 gsm) below the driveway, forming/cutting of grooves, expansion/construction joints in approved pattern and dimensions, cleaning of grooves/joints and filling/sealing with approved hot applied bituminous sealant/compound complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.The rate shall include cost of all materials, admixtures, bituminous joint filler/sealant, labour, machinery, batching plant operations, transit mixers, pumps, groove cutting equipment, tools & tackles, water, quality control tests and incidental charges complete, but excluding cost of centering/shuttering, surface finishing/texturing.Reinforcement steel and dowel bar shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items.
21Providing, driving and installing driven cast in-situ Reinforced Cement Concrete piles of specified diameter and length below pile cap level using hydraulic piling rigs with suitable power units, complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.The work shall include positioning and setting up piling rig, driving of casing/shell where required, supplying and placing M25 grade Design Mix concrete (As per approved Design Mix), providing and fixing pile shoe, driving and forming piles to the required depth and carrying safe working load not less than specified, withdrawing casing where applicable, maintaining alignment and verticality, cutting pile heads to required levels and all incidental works necessary for proper completion of piling works complete in all respects.The rate shall include cost of pile shoe, concrete, reinforcement up to 336 kg, labour, machinery, hydraulic piling rigs, power units, with bentonite solution, tools & tackles, all leads and lifts and incidental charges complete, Any reinforcement steel above 336 Kg shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item.)For actual drilling done pro-rata rate will be applied.(Size of Pile = Dia = 500mm, Depth= 20m)
22Pile Breaking: Breaking / trimming of cast-in-situ reinforced concrete pile head of 500 mm diameter up to 2.0 m length from Natural Ground Level (NGL), including chipping, removal of weak / contaminated concrete, exposing reinforcement bars without damage, cutting and bending of reinforcement as per drawing, disposal of debris within site premises, and all necessary labour, tools & tackles complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
23Providing and fixing steel reinforcement for Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) works using ready-to-use “Cut, Bend and Tie” reinforcement bars of approved make, manufactured and processed at approved factory/workshop and transported to construction site, complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.The work shall include supply, cutting, bending, straightening, placing in position, tying with binding with 16 gauge MS annealed binding wire, providing necessary overlaps, hooks, chairs, spacers and supports for maintaining proper cover, alignment and spacing complete for all RCC works at all levels.Reinforcement steel shall consist of Thermo-Mechanically Treated (TMT) bars of grade Fe-500D or higher conforming to relevant IS specifications.The rate shall include cost of reinforcement steel, binding wire, wastage, cutting and bending charges, transportation, loading/unloading, labour, tools & tackles, all leads and lifts and incidental charges complete.
24Routine Pile test :- Vertical load testing of piles in accordance with IS 2911 -IV including installation of loading paltform and preparation of pile head or construction of test cap and dismantling of test cap after test etc.complete as per specification .
25Routine Pile test :- Lateral load testing of piles in accordance with IS 2911 -IV including installation of loading paltform and preparation of pile head or construction of test cap and dismantling of test cap after test etc.complete as per specification .

27Providing and constructing brick masonry work in substructure below plinth level using first quality burnt clay bricks of Class Designation 7.5 (75 KG / SQCM minimum) in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand), complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.The work shall include soaking of bricks before use, preparation of mortar, laying bricks in proper line, level and plumb with full mortar joints, providing all openings, offsets, projections, embeds and recesses as required, raking out joints to 10 mm depth for plastering/finishing, scaffolding, curing and all cutting, fitting and finishing works complete in all respects.The rate shall include cost of bricks, cement, sand, water, labour, scaffolding, tools & tackles, curing, all leads and lifts and incidental charges complete.
28Providing and constructing brick masonry work in superstructure above plinth level using first quality burnt clay bricks of Class Designation 7.5 (75 KG / SQCM minimum) in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand), complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.The work shall include soaking of bricks before use, preparation of mortar, laying bricks in proper line, level and plumb with full mortar joints, providing all openings, offsets, projections, embeds and recesses as required, raking out joints to 10 mm depth for plastering/finishing, scaffolding/staging, curing and all cutting, fitting and finishing works complete in all respects.The rate shall include cost of bricks, cement, sand, water, labour, scaffolding/staging, tools & tackles, curing, all leads and lifts up to 15 m height and incidental charges complete.

34Preparing and plastering internal wall surfaces at all heights with 12 mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), finished smooth with trowel and sponge, complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.The work shall include preparation of surfaces, hacking/raking out joints wherever required, cleaning, wetting, applying plaster to true line, level and plumb, smooth sponge finish, curing and all necessary scaffolding/staging complete in all respects.The item shall also include providing 6 mm x 6 mm recessed grooves at junctions of RCC and brick masonry surfaces, neatly formed and finished to avoid surface cracks and ensure proper architectural finish complete.The rate shall include cost of cement, sand, groove forming arrangements, water, labour, scaffolding/staging, tools & tackles, curing, all leads and lifts and incidental charges complete.
35Providing and laying average 20 mm thick sand faced cement plaster in two coats on external wall surfaces at all heights in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.The work shall include preparation of surfaces, scaffolding/staging, providing and fixing chicken wire mesh at all junctions of brick masonry and RCC surfaces with minimum 150 mm overlap in all directions, groove cutting/forming wherever required, and providing additional thickness of plaster as necessary to achieve true line, level and plumb without any extra cost.The first coat shall consist of 12 mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:4 mixed with approved make waterproofing compound in proportion as per manufacturer’s specifications and finished rough to receive second coat.The second coat shall consist of 8 mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:4 finished with sponge rubbing to obtain uniform sand faced texture and proper architectural finish complete in all respects.The rate shall include cost of cement, sand, waterproofing compound, chicken mesh, water, labour, scaffolding/staging, curing, tools & tackles, all leads and lifts and incidental charges complete.
36Providing and laying brick soling below grade slab/floor using approved first class kiln burnt clay bricks conforming to IS:1077, laid flat/edge to edge over prepared and compacted sub-grade in proper line and level, including filling joints with sand, watering, ramming, consolidation, cutting of bricks wherever required, and all labour, materials, T&P, lead, lift, loading, unloading, wastages and incidental charges complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
37Breaking and dismantling of reinforced cement concrete (RCC) work at all levels and heights by manual / mechanical means, including cutting of reinforcement, careful handling to avoid damage to adjoining structures, stacking of serviceable materials, and disposal of unserviceable debris to a designated location within the site or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, complete in all respects.

40Supplying and fixing dowel bars in RCC pavement, rigid pavement joints and other concrete areas complete as per IFC drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.The work shall include supply of dowel bars conforming to IS:432 Grade-I, cutting, straightening, machining, epoxy coating, fixing in proper alignment and position, provision of approved plastic sheathing on one end and all accessories required for proper load transfer arrangement in expansion/construction joints as per latest specifications of IRC:15 and IRC:58.For expansion joints, the item shall include providing and fixing closely fitting caps of minimum 100 mm length with closed end made of GI pipe or stiff plastic sleeve of minimum 2 mm thickness over the sheathed end of each dowel bar. Necessary expansion space equal to thickness of joint filler board shall be maintained between cap end and dowel bar end using approved compressible sponge filler.
