Tender for Replacement Of Defective & Rusted Pneumatic Pipelines Of Conventional Electric Locomotives. , - Replacement Of Defective & Rusted Pneumatic Pipelines Of Conventional Electric Locomotives As Per Railway Scope Of Work By Supply Of Required Materials. The Following Work Is To Be Carried Out In Each Loco:1.Opening Of Driver Side Desk Plate Of Both Cabs Of Locomotives.2.Removal Of The Existing Pneumatic Pipeline From Both The Cabs Of Locomotives By Opening Of All Joint Or By Cutting.3.Supply & Fitment Of Heavy Class Tube Steel Seamless Pipe Nominal Bore Dia 15 Mm As Per Existing Arrangement In Under Frame Of Both The Cabs Of Locomotives.4.Supply & Fitment Of Heavy Class Tube Steel Seamless Pipe Nominal Bore Dia 20 Mm As Per Existing Arrangement In Under Frame Of Both The Cabs Of Locomotives.5.Supply & Fitment Of Heavy Class Tube Steel Seamless Pipe Nominal Bore Dia 25 Mm As Per Existing Arrangement In Under Frame Of Both The Cabs Of Locomotives.6.Supply & Fitment Of Heavy Class Tube Steel Seamless Pipe Nominal Bore Dia 32 Mm As Per Existing Arrangement In Under Frame Of Both The Cabs Of Locomotives.7.Supply & Fitment Of Mci Fitting Viz. Union Male & Female, Union Elbow, Union Tee, Threaded Piece, Clamps. Nuts, Bolts, Washers, Gaskets, Chuknut, Ms Sheet, Teflon Tape Etc. As Shown In Annexure Enclosed.8.Welding & Brazing Of Pipe Line Wherever Required.9.Complete Painting Of New Pneumatic Pipe Lines Including Welded Area With One Coat Of Rust Proof Primer & Two Coat Of Enameled Paint As Per The Colour Coding Required By Railway.10.Re-Fitment Of Driver Desk Plate Of Both The Cabs Of Locomotives.11.The Pipeline, Which Is To Be Used For Work, Should Be Blown Out Before Providing On Locomotive. Air Pressure Will Be Provided By The Railway On Free Of Cost At Els/Jhs.12.The Layout Of Pipeline Shall Be Done As Per Existing Arrangement.13.Proper Clamping Of All The Pipelines Duly Provided Rubber Gaskets.14.Provision Of Rubber Grommets Should Be Done Wherever It Is Required.15.During The Course Of Work, The Existing Pipes/Equipment Of The Loco, If Required To Be Shifted And Shall Be Re-Located On Proper Place After Completion Of Work.16.Cleaning And Painting Of Surrounding Area After Completion Of The Work.17.Checking & Testing Of Proper Functioning Of The Pneumatic Pipe Line Of Both The Cabs.18.Leakage Test At All The Points Where The Work Has Been Done Will Be Done With Pressure By Soap Solution.As Per Scope Of Work.
