Draining out the contaminated muddy water from the bottom surface of sump and cleaning the side walls with the help of wire brush including removal green fungs leaves and other dust and dirt ,scraping of dissolved impurities, removal of surface mud /silt ,cleaning with water and draining out complete unwanted meterial obtained from cleaning as well as apply spray of suitable approved disinfactant chemical safe for human being on inner surface of the sump and apply two coat of lime on inner wall and writing the date of cleaning with synthetic enamal paint complete all as specified by Engineer-in-charge.Note :- (i) Sluge/Mud obtained from bottom have to removed and deposited at specifed location directed by Engr-in-Chagre. (ii) The contractor has to make arrangement for entering into overhead tank if his labour not feel confident to ride upon existing stair of overhead tank . |
