Name of Work:- REPAIRS/ MAINTENANCE TO SEWAGE SYSTEM BY CLEANING OF SEPTIC TANK, MANHOLES, SEWAGE LINES, GULLY TRAPS AND DRAIN, HARDSTANDING, PATHWAY AND CHAIN LINK FENCING AT SITE A1 OF NAVAL BASE AREA, KARWAR.

1M&L for removal of blockage and cleaning of sewage lines of 100 mm bore by rodding from manhole to manhole or from manhole to cleaning eye, taking out all debris, sludge and solid materials from sewage lines and removing the same outside MD land, and well flushing with water, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
2Description all as per item No.1.00 above but 150 mm bore.
3Description all as per item No.1.00 above but but 200 mm bore.
4Description all as per item No 1.00 above but 250 mm bore.
5M&L for removal of blockage/waste and cleaning of gully traps and nahani traps of any description and size for smooth flow, complete all as directed.
6M&L for removal of blockage and cleaning of manholes of size 800 mm x 800 mm and up to a depth of 1 m by removing sludge/liquid foul/waste, etc., complete and ensuring smooth flow of sewage, including sprinkling of bleaching powder after cleaning of manholes and disposing of the waste outside Defence land, all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
7Description all as per Item No. 6.00 above, but for manholes of size 900 mm x 1200 mm and depth of manhole exc 1 m but not exc 2 m.
8Description all as per Item No. 6.00 above, but for manholes of size 1400 mm dia and depth of manhole exc 2 m but not exc 3 m.
9Description all as per Item No. 6.00 above, but for manholes of size 1400 mm dia and depth of manhole exc 3 m but not exc 4 m.
10Cleaning of septic tanks/manholes/soakage wells by bailing out/removing the solid/semi-solid/liquid sludge in foul condition by using a suction machine and removing/disposing of the waste outside MD land, including refixing the cover properly after washing the septic tank with clean water, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
11Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m in depth for taking up/laying sewer lines and getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.
12Description all as per Item No.11.00 above, but exc1.5 m and not exc 3.0 m in depth.
13Excavation over areas not exc 1.5 m in depth in soft and loose soil and getting out, complete all as specified and directed.
14Excavation over areas exc 1.5 m but not exc 3 m in depth in soft and loose soil and getting out, complete all as specified and directed.
15Excavation over areas exc 3 m but not exc 4.5 m in depth in soft and loose soil and getting out, complete all as specified and directed.
16Returning, filling in soil including spreading, levelling, watering, and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm, complete all as specified and directed.
