| 170 | Notes for BoQ:-(a) The furniture article as and when received from Unit/Occupant as case may be, the Engineer-in-Charge (BSO) shall enter these furniture articles in furniture deposit register (IAFW-1830) and shall subsequently issue for necessary repair/polishing to the Contractor through Nominal issue voucher(NIV) mentioning the date of issue duly signed by the contractor. In certain cases the repairable furniture article can also be issued directly from units. (b) The contractor shall return these furniture articles after repair work on or before 30 days from the date of issue of furniture and nominal Receipt Vouchers (NRV) shall be issued duly signed by furniture I/C, BSO and Contractor. (c) If the contractor fails to repair and return these furniture article within 30 days, a penalty of Rs 10 per furniture article per day will be levied to contractor and the same will be recovered from contractors dues. (d) Generally the periodicity for issue of furniture from BSO Yard shall be once or twice in a month (reckoning from date of commencement of work as per WO No.1) subjected to the users requirement/availability of furniture for repair works.
