(e) Applying a coat aluminium paint min. 0.20ltr/sqm as per manufacturer's instructions. |
| 5 | M&L for sunken floor treatment as described as under (i) to (vi) :-(i) Demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided or in any type,filled in sunken portion & cleaned the sunken portion incl dismantling plastering wall surface complete as directed.(ii) M& L 40mm thick (Min) PCC (1:2:4) type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate with integral water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions on bottom of sunken portion with proper slope towards spout. Vertical sides shall be plastered in CM (1:4) 15 mm thick mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions(water proofing compound to be measured and paid for separately). Plaster shall be extended over PCC coving when the same is green i.e. PCC & plaster be carried out at the same time complete all as specified and directed.(iii) Spouts of 40mm dia GI pipe medium grade projecting 450mm clear of face outer a wall with mosquito proof cap on inner face of pipe shall be provided to drain out seepage water ,including cutting holes and making good if needed as specified and directed. (iv) After laying sewage/ plumbing pipes with fixtures in position 2 coats of EP-101 epoxy compound shall be applied complete all as specified and directed.(v) The sunken portion shall be tested for leakage / seepage / dampness by pounding with water for 72 hours. In case any defect is noticed, the portion shall be grouted with cement slurry mixed with suitable chemical & tested again. The process of grouting and testing shall be repeated till leakage / seepage / dampness is eliminated.(vi) The sunken floor shall again be filled with PCC (1:5:10) type E-2 using over the treated surface upto top for fixing of WC complete all as specified and directed.Note -Mode of Measurement (i) Sunken slab to be treated up to 450 mm depth.(ii) Bottom area of sunken slab will only be measured for qty calculation and payment |
