(b) Apply 1st coat of PU coating (ShaliUrethane® LHM @ 650 gm/m2 (minimum) or equivelant) by brush / roller / spray, spread waterproofing reinforced Glass Fiber Tissue of 150 GSM with overlaps of 75mm in both directions when the surface is still tacky. Allow 1st coast to dry for 10-12 hrs.(c) Apply 2nd and 3rd coat of PU membrane (ShaliUrethane® LHM @ 650 gm/m2 (minimum) or equivelant) as per manufacturers instructions having sun reflective Index (SRI) of manimum 106 on top of roof surface after application. Treatment is to be extended on vertical and horizontal surfaces of parapet. Note : (i) The minimum thickness of roof treatment shall be 1.5mm. If any shortfall in thickness of above treatment is noticed, the thickness shall be achieved by additional coat.(ii) The plan area shall be considered for payment.(iii) The procurement of material and execution of work of water proofing treatment shall be carried out by authorised applicator approved by GE.(iv) The manufacturer / athorised applicator shall give a warranty for the performance & durability for 10 Years. |
