12EARTH WORK:Earthwork in excavation in foundations of buildings, footings, columns, plinth beams, walls, machine/ equipment foundations, isolated pits, pavements, trenches for pipelines /cables, pipe sleepers, drains, etc., to the required levels and grades in both dry and wet conditions, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, getting out excavated earth with lift upto 1.5 M and disposal of surplus excavated materials within a lead of 50 M including stacking, levelling and dressing etc., complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge(E.I.C.) in all kinds of soils as defined in IS: 1200 including providing temporary supports to all service lines such as overhead and underground water, sewage and drain pipes, cables etc. and shoring and strutting wherever necessary, complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

15Filling with available excavated good earth (excluding rocks / boulders), as approved and directed by Engineer-in-Charge, in trenches, plinth, under floors, sides of foundation etc., at all depths in layers not exceeding 20 cms. in thickness including consolidating and dressing each deposited layer by ramming and watering with lead upto 50 metres, complete in all respects (compaction under floor with mechanical vibrater / road roller including watering).
16Filling / banking the proposed area with earth excavated from owner's premises (5 km lead) to the required grade levels in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth including excavation, loading, unloading, filling, spreading, breaking clods, watering, leveling at site area, consolidating / compacting each deposited layerwith minimum 8.0 Tonne capacity power roller up to 95% of maximum dry density of filling materials, dressing up the embankments for flood banks, marginal banks, and guide banks etc., grading area within the plant boundary and at all lifts, removal of rubbish / debris to a location outside the periphery of the Plant Battery Limits to the approved municipal ground (responsibility lies with the contactor to obtain permission from municipal corporation) / contactor own premises outsdie plant leaving the site clear and providing tests for required compaction of the surfaces etc., in all kinds of soil complete, as per specifications for all lifts involved, approved drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Jungle clearing & surface dressing, if requried, shall be paid under separate item.
17Surface dressing of the ground including removing vegetation and inequalities not exceeding 15 cm deep and disposal of rubbish to the approved municipal dumping ground (reponsibility of seeking permission from municipal corporation shall be of contractor) or contractor's own land.
18PLAIN CEMENT CONCRETE:Providing and laying plain cement concrete, machine mixed and mechanically vibrated in foundations, plinth, under floors, etc., including all necessary cost of centring and shuttering :1:4:8 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand: 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size).
19REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE:IN FOUNDATION AND PLINTHProviding and laying reinforced cement concrete of grade M-30(using 20 mm. nominal gauge graded stone aggregate) machine mixed and mechanically vibrated and finished to a fair face but excluding the cost of centring, shuttering and reinforcement in foundation and plinth, for rafts, footings, bases of columns, pedestals, beams, walls, columns, slabs, machine and equipment foundations, pile caps, box sections, pipe supports, etc., complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.
20IN SUPERSTRUCTUREProviding and laying reinforced cement concrete of grade M-30 ( using 20 mm. nominal gauge graded stone aggregate), machine mixed, mechanically vibrated and finished to a fair face but excluding the cost of centring, shuttering and reinforcement in superstructure at all heights for columns, pillars, posts, attached pillasters, portals, struts, inclined posts, pedestals for equipments and similar vertical members, etc., complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
21Providing, hoisting, and installing precast reinforced cement concrete elements, including the cost of necessary centering and shuttering, but excluding the cost of reinforcement and non-shrink grout. The work shall be carried out using M30 grade concrete reinforced with high-strength wire. The precast concrete column shall be embedded into the cement concrete pedestal and secured in position using non-shrink grout.
22REINFORCEMENT AND EMBEDMENTS:Supplying, cutting, cleaning, straightening, bending, hoisting and placing in position and binding with 18 SWG annealed wire, reinforcement bar of high yield strength Corrosion Resistance Steel with Fe500D properties conforming to IS:1786 with minimum yield strength of 500 N/sq,mm for all R.C.C. works including all necessary handling at all heights and depths complete in all respects and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
23Supplying, cutting, cleaning, straightening, bending, hoisting and placing in position and binding with high strength wire properties conforming to IS:1785 with minimum tensile strength of 1715 N/sq mm for all pre-cast works including all necessary handling at all heights and depths complete in all respects and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
24Supplying, fabricating and fixing in position M.S. anchor plates, hooks, insert plates, M.S. flats, M.S. angle inserts and the like including welding M.S. lugs, etc., and embedding in cement concrete /R.C.C. works as per approved drawings complete in all respects and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
25SHUTTERING:Providing, fabricating, erecting and fixing in position with bolts and nuts, nails and ties, etc., centring and shuttering materials true to line and level, including strutting, propping, staging etc. with necessary bracing in all axes to give a stable assembly including chamfering the corners of columns and beams etc., wherever required including making joints in the shuttering fully leak-proof, i/c. Striking, dismantling and removing the aforesaid assembly after concreting is over, including all labour and materials complete in all respects and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge :IN FOUNDATION AND PLINTHFoundation and plinth in rafts, footings, columns, pedestals, beams, walls, slabs, machine and equipment foundations, pile caps and pipe support foundations, etc.
26IN SUPERSTRUCTUREColumns, pillars, posts, struts, inclined posts, attached anufactu, portals and similar vertical members.
27BRICK WORK:Providing and constructing brick work using bricks of class designation 7.5 in cement mortar 1 : 6 ( 1 cement: 6 coarse sand ) in: Foundation and plinth.
28Superstructure at all heights.
29Half brick masonry with bricks of class designation 7.5 in plinth and super structure in cement mortar 1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 coarse sand)
30STRUCTURAL STEEL:Supplying, transporting, de-rusting, fabricating, erecting, hoisting and fixing in position with necessary welding and/or bolting with MS bolts conforming to property class 8.8 of IS: 1367 at all heights as per approved fabrication drawings of all types of structural steel work in columns, portals, girders, lattice girders, beams, crane girders, M.S rails, monorails, bracings, trusses, purlins, rafters, side runners, sag rods, hand railings, staircase stringers and steps, walkway, toe-plates, floor grids, sag rods with M.S. rounds, side walling, conveyor gantries, trestle for pipe and cable racks, gusset plates, etc., either made of rolled steel joists, channels, angles, tees, flats, plates , universal sections or built up from plates and/or rolled steel sections including necessary site and shop fasteners, complete in all respects as per approved fabrication drawings, standards and direction of Engineer-in-Charge :With providing and applying primer coat, intermediate coats and finish coat after the preparation of surfaces on structural steel work complete in all respects as per technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
31Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete of grade M-20 in pavement floors (using 20 mm. nominal gauge graded stone aggregate) manually/machine mixed and mechanically vibrated and finished to a fair face but excluding the cost of centring, shuttering and reinforcement in slabs at ground floor level. complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
32Laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of specified sizes in uniform thickness by mechanical/manual means to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/binding material to fill up interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density.
33MISCELLANEOUS : Providing, fabricating and fixing in position gates of any height , all made out of structural steel sections such as M.S. Angles, Tees, Channels, Plates, Flats, etc., for all horizontal, vertical and diagonal members, M.S. Gusset plates including providing and fixing in position at all heights hard drawn steel wire fabric mesh of size 75 mm x 25 mm welded with frames, including providing and fixing necessary lock plate, handles, locking arrangement and other fittings, drilling of holes wherever required, welding etc. including providing necessary hinge plates welded to insert plates embedded in RCC columns, bolts and nuts for hinge etc. including providing and applying painting, complete in all respects as per drawings and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.With providing and applying two coats of high build zinc phosphate primer of approved brand and manufacture compatible to chlorinated rubber paint at a dry film thickness of 40 micron per coat on structural steel work after preparation of surfaces including providing and applying two coats of chlorinated rubber based paint of approved colour, brand and manufacture at a dry film thickness of 50 microns per coat .
34Providing and fixing concertina coil fencing with punched tape concertina coil 600 mm dia, 10 metre openable length (total length 90 m), having 50 nos. rounds per 6 metre length, up to 3 m height of wall with existing angle iron ‘Y’ shaped placed 2.4 m or 3.00 m apart and with 9 horizontal R.B.T. reinforced barbed wire, stud tied with G.I. staples and G.I. clips to retain horizontal, including necessary bolts or G.I. barbed wire tied to angle iron, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge, with reinforced barbed tape (R.B.T.) / spring core (2.5 mm thick) wire of high tensile strength of 165 kg/sq.mm with tape (0.52 mm thick) and weight 43.478 gm/metre (cost of M.S. angle, C.C. blocks shall be paid separately)
35Providing at all heights 12 mm thick cement plaster on brick work, exposed surfaces of RCC lintels, beams, etc., complete in all respects and as directed with cement plaster mix : 1:2:2 (1 cement: 2 fine sand: 2 coarse sand).
36Providing and applying Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade of approved brand n make on exterior walls (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied@ 2.20 kg/10 sqm)). The job includes preparation of surface to make good the unevenness of the surfaces, removing existing paint or putty including necessary scaffolding etc. complete for all heights as directed & instructed by engineer-in-charge.
37Providing & grouting of dowel tubes/shear keys/ joints of precast members with M-60 grade cementitious grout (Non-shrink) of approved make by suitable means ( free flowing/pump), curing, etc. Complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (The payment shall be made on the basis of actual volume of approved grout injected).Stirrer mixed cementitious grout ( non-shrink) of approved make in dowel tubes/shear keys/ joints of precast members.
38Providing and erecting 2.00 metre high temporary barricading at site; each panel of size 2.50 m × 2.00 m made of 40 × 40 × 6 mm angle iron or 50 × 50 × 3 mm hollow MS tube posts/horizontal members/bracings covered with 1.63 mm thick MS sheet. The sheet shall be fixed with 30 × 5 mm MS flat by suitable welding/riveting. The panels shall be made so that a 50 cm gap above ground is available making overall height 2.50 m. An MS channel ISLC 75 @ 5.70 kg/m, 50 cm long, shall be provided at the bottom having oval shaped holes 50 × 25 mm at both ends with 50 cm long MS angle 40 × 40 × 6 mm bracing. Suitable arrangement shall be made to fix the barricading to avoid overturning by providing 250 mm long expansion fasteners at both ends. The item includes suitable fixing arrangement, writing/painting, traffic diversion arrangements (signals, lamps, reflective signs, caution tape etc.), continuous retention on site (including shifting when required), maintenance, materials, labour, tools, and all incidentals as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
