Name of Work:- REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF HANGER DOORS AND ROOF AT BHISIANA UNDER GE (AF) BHISIANA
Sl. No. Item Description
1Dismantling of brick work or stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles in any description, stacking serviceable brick for re use if directed and balance removing rubbish from the site complete all as specified and as directed.
2Material and labour for brick work using old serviceable bricks obtained from dismantled item shall be reused after cleaning old cement mortar, straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed.
3Material and labour for brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
4Material and labour for brick work in half brick thick wall straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
5Taking down cement plaster/rough cast plaster from brick walls/soffits of roof projections & chajjas /ceilings etc. including racking out joints, hacking for key & scrubbing down with water etc including disposal of rubbish material to any distance out side MOD land complete all as specified and as directed.
6Material and labour for 15mm thick cement plastering in cement mortar (1:4) on any face of Brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and fair complete all as specified and as directed.
7Material and labour for rendering/plastering 10-12 mm thick in CM (1:6) on any face of Brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and fair complete all as specified and as directed.
8Material and labour for preparing the surface and applying two coats of Oil Bound Distemper (OBD) of approved make and shade to walls/pillars /cornices surfaces (over any type of surface new or old prepared after complete removal, and applying putty etc.) over one coat of cement primer suitable for OBD, paint and primer applying by using paint brush or roller brush complete all as specified and as directed.
9Material and labour for preparation of new steel and iron surfaces of any description, not otherwise described, exceeding 10 cm in width or girth, including cleaning the surface free from dust, dirt, grease, oil and other foreign matter and surface imperfections by rubbing down with emery paper/sand paper or by other approved means to obtain a clean, smooth and even surface and further applying one coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer and two coats of first-quality synthetic enamel paint of approved brand, shade and tint, each coat applied by brush only after proper preparation and complete drying of the preceding coat, to produce a smooth, uniform, durable and aesthetically acceptable finish, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
10Material and labour for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth by cleaning the dust and removing all loose particle with using sanded paper, clean cloths and dry paint brush & applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint (1st quality) of approved tint/colour to achieve glossing finish with using paint brush complete all as specified and as directed.
11Material and labour for preparation of external surface (any treated or untreated) of walls / Soffits of Chajjas / Roof Projections etc. by removing/scraping all loose paint, treatment, dust, dirt and other foreign matter using broom, paint brush, sand paper, wall sander or any other suitable means as required and applying two coats of premium quality water-based exterior emulsion paint based on 100% acrylic binder with silicone additives, having VOC content not exceeding 50 g/litre when tested in accordance with IS 101 (Part 2/Sec 2) and UV resistance conforming to IS 15489:2004 or latest revision, of approved brand and manufacture, in camouflage pattern using 4 to 5 approved colour shades as per pattern approved by the Engineer-in-Charge or as per existing pattern. The paint shall have a coverage capacity of approximately 6.5 to 7.5 square metres per litre for two coats and shall be applied over one coat of alkali-resistant water-based exterior primer of the same make having a coverage capacity of approximately 11 to 14 square metres per litre per coat, the paint shall be applied by brush, roller or airless spray gun as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge and in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations to achieve a uniform finish and camouflage pattern, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Brand and Make of primer: - Seal O Primer of Berger / Smart Care Primero of Asian / Excel Alkali Prime of Nerolac /Weathershield Alkali Bloc PU+ Primer of DuluxBrand and Make of exterior acrylic emulsion paint: - Apex Ultima of Asian / Weather Coat antidust of Berger / Weather shield Protect of Dulux / Excel Total of NerolacNotes : (i) A minimum interval of 4 to 6 hours, or such duration as recommended by the manufacturer, shall be maintained between successive coats to ensure proper drying, curing and adhesion of the paint system.(ii) The percentage, distribution, arrangement, sequence and configuration of the approved colour shades forming the camouflage pattern shall be finalized by the Engineer-in-Charge/Station Authority using 4 to 5 approved colour shades having RGB values within the range of 110 to 171, ensuring adequate colour variation and blending to achieve the desired camouflage effect.(iii) The approved camouflage pattern shall be maintained uniformly throughout the work. Any deviation from the approved pattern, colour shades or workmanship standards shall be rectified by the Contractor at his own cost and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
12Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided including removing debries/rubbish material from site to outside MOD land complete all as specified and as directed.
13Material and labour for PCC (1:2:4), type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate as in coping at roof, roof kerb (golla) or mud stops along parapet wall, side of roof sheet along parapet wall, adjoining to roof in concave shape & similar work etc at any height, rounded or chamfered on edges including necessary form work etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
14Material and labour for 25mm thick cement concrete (1:2:4), Type-B-0 , using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregates as in floors, pavement, hardstanding and finishing the surface of concrete topping even and smooth (without using extra cement) complete all as specified and as directed.
15Taking down any type of soil waste, vent pipe, rain water PVC Pipe of any dia and any descriptions, from along Walls/laid on Floors, etc., including all fittings, heads, shoes, bends, swan-neck etc complete all as specified and as directed. Please Enable Macros to View BoQ information
