Name of Work:- REPAIR / MAINTENANCE OF VARIOUS CAPCITIES SERVO VOLTAGE STABILIZER AND CONNECTED WORKS UNDER GE (AF) SRINAGAR.

1M&L for opening the Servo voltage stabilizer of capacity 200 KVA upto and including 300 KVA by removing the nuts bolts then after removing the internal L.T. connections by taking them out by removing studs, bushings, taking out the winding assembly from tank, removing out burnt parts from the assembly, cleaning of assembly with CTC including necessary repairs for the unserviceable parts and cleaning of sludge deposited in the tank with CTC for the stabilizer. removal of leakage of tank if any by welding, refilling new/ filtered transformer oil to tank, after putting the core-winding assembly into the tank, reassembling making the internal connections by fixing the studs, bushing, fitting the top cover by replacing cork sheet gasket, testing of stabilizer in the workshop duly filled with oil, all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Unserviceable parts required for repairs of stabilizer shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule as following. Quotated rates shall deemed to be included of disconnection of all connections of Stablizer taking into workshop including transportation, loading and unloading. Transformer oil with die electric strength not less than 45 KV either new or filtered shall be filled and shall be measured and paid separately under respective item.

121M&L for painting of Servo voltage stabilizer of capacity 20 KVA to 200 KVA by removing of old paint with blow lamp or metal scrubber and apply two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and writing of SM / MES Nos on each transformer, complete all as specified and directed.Note:- Proper shutdown shall be taken by the contractor before commencement of work. Spray gun shall be used for painting.
122M&L for dehydration of Servo voltage stabilizer of capacity upto 25 KVA including filtration of Servo voltage stabilizer oil by dehydration and filtration plant including testing of sample before and after dehydration and filtration, the dielectric strength to be achieved 40 KV at 2.5mm gap after completion of dehydration and filtration, complete all as specified and directed.Note:- (i) dehydration of Servo voltage stabilizer oil shall be carried out on the site by dehydration machine and the rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of this provision.(ii) All the Labour work like disconnect of cable and reassemble and drum etc. shall be carried out by contractor by own arrangement.

150NOTE : (i) The cost of earth lead and its protection pipe upto and including 7.5 m only from the top of earth electrode are deemed to be included under this item and additional earth lead , if any, required at site shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A’/BOQ.(ii) Any joint in earth lead from earth electrode to test point shall not be allowed/permitted.
