Name of Work:- CERTAIN REPAIRS FOR LEAKAGE, SEEPAGE, ROOF TREATMENT AND STRUCTURES AT MIL STN FAZILKA

1Demolition of brick work or stone masonry built in cement mortar including all quoins, pillars, arches etc. but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
2M&L Brick work with fly ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 mtr mean radius built in CM 1:6 all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge .
3Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
4M&L RCC 1:1½:3, (nominal mix), Type A-1, using 20mm graded aggregates as in chajjas, fins, fascias,shelves , louvers, parapets and railing etc and the like including necessary formworks all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.
5S&F for mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required,including binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing clips complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
6Demolition of cement concrete ( un re-inforced) of any description in roofs, floors(other than ground floors), beams, staircases, landing, chajjas and similar suspended work all as specified.
7Dismantling brick terracing tiles single layer from roof laid and pointed in cement mortar and removing/disposal off from the site to store complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
8Demolition/taking out of mud from roofs, any thickness, including removing / cutting uprooting grass,vegetations and roots of small plants etc on roof and surrounding/parapet wall etc, including removing rubbish material from building and thrown in low lying empty area (as per direction of Engr-in-Charge) at any distance upto 500 metres from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge
9Material and labour for cleaning of top roof surface by wire brushing, removing all dust, loose particle of concrete and washing with water and apply cement concrete flooring type B0 1:2:4 using 12.5 mm graded aggregate on roof slab all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
10M&L PCC 1:2:4, type B-1 , using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges and similar work all as specified and as directed and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
11M&L rendering/screed 15mm thick water proofing plaster in CM 1:3 on roof slab including mixing of liquid WPC in mortar @ 200 ml per bag of cement of 50kg and finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note :- WPC shall be measured & paid separately as Supply only under relevant item of BOQ.
12OVERLAY- PU BASED ELASTOMERIC LIQUIED MEMBRANE SYSTEM FOR EXPOSED ROOF : Providing and applying polyurethane liquid roof waterproofing with improved water ponding capability, elastomeric high build liquid membrane for concrete roofs for exterior wall and exposed surface with solid content not less than 80% and solar reflective index not less than 106 as per (ASTM E1980-19)/tear strength ~20 N/mm (Free film, 14 days, +30 degree C) (ASTM D624) and tensile strength >= 2 N/mm2 (ASTM D4541), elongation 350 to 400% as per ASTM D412 and crack bridging ability upto 2mm.(a) After proper surface preparation, Apply one coat of Primer for PU coating as per manufacturers specification.(b) Apply 1st coat of ShaliUrethane® BTD (white) @ 650 gm / m²(minimum) or equivalent by brush / roller while prime surface is tacky, Spread waterproofing reinforced Glass Fiber mash of 45 GSM with overlaps of 50 mm in both directions when the surface is still tacky. Allow 1st coat to dry. (c ) Apply 2nd & 3rd coat of ShaliUrethane® BTD (white) @ 650 gm / m² (minimum) or equivalent by brush/roller. Make : Fosroc/Sika/Choksey/Bostik/STP/ Asian Paints/Berger PaintsNote : (i) The Minimum dry film thickness (DFT) of roof treatment shall be 1.5mm if any shortfall in thickness of above treatment the same shall be achieved by additional coat. (ii) The procurement of material and execution of the work of water proofing treatment shall be carried out by authorised applicator approved by GE.(iii) The manufacturer/authorised applicator shall give a warranty for the performance & durability for 10 years.
13Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to stores and and rubbish off the permises complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
14M&L for glazed ceramic coloured tiles 7mm thick 300 x 450mm size in vertical surface set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white cement paste pigmented to the shade over and including 10mm thick cement sand plaster (1:3) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.
15M&L for Water proofing treatment to RCC sunken slab (not exceeding 45cm depth of sunken) as specified below complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. :- (a) applying 15 mm plaster in CM 1:3 with WPC on raised verticle surface(b) Cleaning the surface with wire brush/coir brush, removing lose material like dust particles, dirt etc.(c) Creating fillet coving of 50x50 mm with polymer modified mortar on the junction of slab and walls(d) Apply first coat of two component modified polymer coating on the horizontal and verticle surface.(e) Provision of glass fiber mesh of 2 x 2 mm immediately on above coating(f) Apply second coat of two component modified polymer coating after 72 hrs.(g) Cement concrete 1:4:8 over the coating as per requirment.(h) Joining the saintary pipes with the water proofing tape having bridging ability of more than 1.5 mm(j) Filling the gap between the wall opening and saintary pipe with non shrink cementatious grout complete as specified.Manufacturer : Make : - Dr.Fixit/Fosroc/STP/Asianpaints or equivalentNote: 1. The treatment shall be carried out by approved authorised applicator approved by GE as per manufacturer instructions and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.2. PCC (1:5:10) type E-2 filling in sunken portion will be measured seperately
16M&L for PCC (1:5:10) type E-2 (using 40mm graded brick aggregate) as in foundation, filling & mass concrete or filling in sunken floor complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
17M&L 75 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded aggregate as in sub base all as specified.
18M&L 25mm thick cement concrete type B-1, 1:2:4 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in floors for tiles all as specified.& directed by Engineer -in-charge..
19M&L Non skid ceramic coloured /printed tiles 7 to 8 mm thick( square /rectangular) area of each tile exc. 0.11 sqm but n. exc, 0.18 sqm and shall be jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in paste pigmented to tile shade over and incl 15 mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.
20M&L Non skid ceramic coloured /printed tiles 7 to 8 mm thick( square /rectangular) area of each tile exc. 0.18 sqm but n. exc, 0.38 sqm and shall be jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in paste pigmented to tile shade over and incl 15 mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.
21Taking down cement plaster of any description, any thickness from external surfaces of walls/soffits etc. incl raking out joints, hacking for keys, scrubbibg down with water etc complete all as specified and directed.
22M & L for Treating apparent visible efflorescenceby first cleaning using hard wire brush and all crystal deposits to be removed. The bricks shall then be cleaned using soft brush of powdery crystals removed. Then make a 1 to 4 solution of vinegar and water (1 part vinegar to 4 part water) and apply it to the afflorescence affected area using a nylon brush. Allow the vinegar/water solution to sit on the serface of the affected area for 15 minutes, but do not allow the solution to dry, Rinse the area with clean water using low pressure jet. Two cycle of cleaning using vinegar water solutions to be repeated complete all as specified and as directed.Note1. Chemical shall be used for item No 22,23 & 24 is of Sika India Pvt Ltd or equivalent (same specification as of product of Sika mentioned here-in-above).Note2. The site for item No 22,23 & 24 will be given in peace meal as per suitability at site.
23M&L for the joints of bricks to cleaned shall be pointed using cement putty made at site using sika latex/SBR polymer diluted at retio of 1:4 with water. The solution to made shall be used to mix with cement to make a putty consistency paste. The cement putty shall be then work out in the joints complete all as specified and as directed.
24M&L for the bricks so pointed shall be cleaned for all dust are deposit using brush. A undiluted single component acrylic polymer - Sika Raintite to be used to prime the brick surface. The primer while being tacky the first coat of water proofing coating is done, Second coat is applied after a time interval of 4-6 hrs after the first has dried. The water proofing coating shall be two component polymer modified cementious coating - Sika Top Seal - 107, having a thickness of 1.5 mm in 2 coat. The material to be factory batched and ready to use. The two component shall be mixed using low speed drill having a RPM 350-450 and fitted with a paddle.The mixing to be done for 3-4 minutes to give a brushable consistency mix. The coating shall be done using 100-150 mm wide brush. It is to be take care that material while being used is agitated every 3-5 minutes to avoid powder part getting settled. The water proofing coating shall have below properties Tensile strength- 4.56 N/mm2 after 14 days exposure (According to ASTM D 2370 ) Bond Strength 2.0 N/mm2 at +27degree C (Failure in substrate). After application of second coat and while the material is still wet, coarse sand is sprinkled over the coating so as to ensure proper machanical key is provided for subsequent plaster complete all as specified and as directed
25M&L for plastering 15mm thick over the treated surface in CM 1:4 cement sand plaster added with acrylic polymer Sikacim @0.2% by weight of cement finished even & smooth without using extra cement all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
26M&L for 10mm thick cement plastering in cement mortar 1:6 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces finished fair & even without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.
27M&L Preparation of newly plastered surfaces by applying two coats of interior grade wall putty and making it smooth with sand paper by mechanical method i.e. with hand electric grinder then applying two coats of oil bound distemper over one coat of cement primer including all as specified by mechanical method i.e. spray gun all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
28M&L for 5 mm thick cement plastering in cement mortar 1:3 on fair faces of concrete ceiling surfaces finished fair & even without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.
29M&L applying three coat of white wash on newly plastered or unplastered ceiling surfaces including preperation of surfaces, complete all as specified.
30M&L for Cement plastering 15mm thick in cemet mortar 1:4 including mixing of liquid water proofing compound in both layers as per manufacturer's instructions on brick work or concrete surfaces or in chajjas/parapet walls etc finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.Note : WPC will be measured and paid separately.
31M&L for preparation of surfaces of external walls/RCC surfaces/soffits of chajjas/roof projections/cantilevers/balcony etc and applying two coat of cement base paint with highlighter of any approved shade @ 5 sq.m/kg/1 coat over & including a coat of exterior wall cement primer @ 10 sq.m/litre/1 coat as recommended for under coat by manufacturer of cement based paint by using following brands of cement based paint and primer by brush or roller complete all as specified & as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
32Supply only integral liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed.
33Disconnecting existing tanks, setting aside (orlowering if required) for repairs, exc 250 nexc 500 ltr cleaning, etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in position and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note : Cleaning repairing will be measured separately

37S&F Chlorinated PVC (CPVC) pipes 20 mm outer dia, having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply, including all CPVC plain & brass threaded fittings, i/c fixing the pipe with clamps at 1.0 m spacing . this includes jointing of pipes & fittings with one step CPVC solvent cement and the cost of cutting chases and making good the same including testing of joints complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
38Supply & fixing mild steel tubes of size 20 mm bore (medium grade) galvanised with all fittingsand fixed complete to wall complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
39S&F in repairs vitreous china wash down water closet pan padestel pattern white including connection pipe to union of flushing cistern, inlet and overflow pipes,connecting only to flushing cistern anti-syphonage pipe with PVC flush pipe of 32mm dia including Jet spray and plastic seat cover with mild steel chromoum plated hinging and 'P' or 'S' trap device including demolition of existing WC any type in any position complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
40S&F in repair Viterous China squating pan Orrisa pattern size 580/440mm wash down water closet pan (pedestal pattern), white (excluding fixing bolts, flushing cistern and flush pipe) including demolition of existing WC any type in any position complete all as specified and directed.
41Dismantling plain, corrugated steel sheeting any guage, thickness including nanital or similar pattern roof covering complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
42S&F Pre-painted galvatume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/ cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
43S & F rolled mild steel joist, channel,angle,or Tee sections, fixed independently conforming to Fe 410-W all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

About 1.3 Kg of sodium chloride dissolved in hot water shall also be added for every 10 kg of lime for making the coating hard and rub-resistant. Small quantity of ultramarine blue (upto 3 gm per kg of lime) shall also be added to the white wash solution and the whole solution shall be stirred thoroughly before use complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
