Concrete Substrate: Priming the surface with Primer Tech 60: Providing & Applying two component epoxy primer Tech 60 a concrete surface Consolidation primer on the entire surface in one coat as per site surface by brush or roller. The surface to be treated shall be sound and free from dust. The surface shall be dry or with very low residual moisture < 4%. Mixing ratio: component A: component B = 100 : 50 CONSUMPTION: 0.2 kg/m² per coat. Waterproofing: Hand applied waterproofing coating by approved PLA 400 is a single component polyurethane waterproof Coating. Highly elastic and durable membrane, ready to use and easy to apply. Once cured, the membrane forms a joint less, flexible and strong waterproof layer. The membrane is generally spray applied/brush applied in two coats to get 1.0 mm thickness, to form a dense coating, pinholes free and no bubbles. The temperature of the substrate must be at least 3°C above dew-point and the level of residual moisture must be no higher than 4%. Consumption: Apply PLA 400 in two coats at 0.7 kg/coat/Sqm to get a thickness of 0.9-1.0 mm. In general, the consumption rates are for a seamless film on a flat surface and will be higher on uneven substrate. |
| 18 | Cleaning and Preparation: The cleaning and preparation of the substrate by grinding for concrete and sand blasting for metal surface to which the approved PLA 400 is applied must be carried out thoroughly to leave a sound base for the application.
