The fitting should be fully automatic i.e. automatic on in case of normal supply failure and automatic off as power resumes. The battery should have inbuilt protection for over, under charge and short circuit protection. The job also includes the cost of testing commissioning and making connections with 3x1.5 copper conductor from adjacent light point, other petty material and labour etc. as required to complete the job to be entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. | 13 | The Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for complete fire alarm system on a comprehensive basis, including maintenance of the complete system along with all necessary spare parts, and no additional or hidden charges shall be payable during the contract period. Preventive maintenance of the system shall be carried out once every fortnight to ensure proper functioning. The supplier shall attend all service/repair calls within two (2) hours from the time of lodging the complaint, and all defective equipment shall be repaired on the same day at the purchaser’s site.
