Name of Work:- Rate Contract for waterproofing in both academic and residential buildings for 12 months period (work has to be done in piece meal wherever and whenever required throughout the period of agreement) at NIT Warangal.

3Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq.meters and under, including cutting the patch in propershape,raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge With cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand)
4Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge. Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix)
5Demolishing dry brick pitching in floors, drains etc. including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead :
6Dismantling tile work in floors and roofs laid in cement mortar including stacking material within 50 metres lead. For thickness of tiles 10 mm to 25 mm.
7Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.
8Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.
9Supplying and applying Wall Guard (Fosroc / Dr. Fixit / equivalent approved brand) on external walls wherever dampness is observed and as instructed by the Department, including all materials, labour, incidental and operational charges complete, in two coats over one coat of acrylic primer such as Nitoprime AW / Dr. Fixit Primeseal 604 / equivalent approved brand on old external wall surfaces.The operation shall be carried out after proper scraping and cleaning of the surface to remove loose particles using wire brushes. Cracks shall be filled with Nitoseal PU50 / Dr. Fixit PU Sealant / equivalent approved brand as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Procedure to be followed: 1.Surface Preparation: Surface shall be prepared by mechanical grinding to remove all loose mortar, laitance, oil, grease, decayed matter and algae growth. 2.Filling of Cracks: Identify cracks on the walls and chase them open in the form of grooves. Cutting of cracks shall be done to a size of 5 mm × 5 mm or as required. Fill the grooves properly with Nitoseal PU50 / Dr. Fixit PU Sealant / equivalent approved brand.3.Priming Coat: The prepared surface shall be applied with one coat of acrylic primer such as Nitoprime AW / Dr. Fixit Primeseal / equivalent approved brand prior to application of Wall Guard coating. The primer coat shall be air cured for 6 hours. 4.Wall Guard Application: Apply Wall Guard coating (Fosroc / Dr. Fixit / equivalent approved brand) in two coats at a minimum dry film thickness (DFT) of 110 microns per coat with a minimum consumption of 0.30–0.40 L/m². Each coat shall be air cured for 6 hours before application of the subsequent coat. (GST applicable as per DSR-2023).Note: The above work shall be carried out with the help of trained and skilled labour strictly as per manufacturer specifications.
10Supplying and applying acrylic polymer modified elastomeric fibre reinforced waterproofing coating (Fosroc / Dr. Fixit / equivalent approved brand) in three coats with a total thickness of 1 mm DFT over one coat of acrylic primer such as Nitoproof WB / Dr. Fixit Primeseal 604 or equivalent approved brand on the roof surface, including all materials, labour, incidental and operational charges complete. The work shall be carried out after proper surface preparation by scrapping and cleaning the surface thoroughly to remove loose particles using wire brushes. Cracks shall be filled with Nitoseal PU50 / Dr. Fixit PU Sealant / equivalent approved brand as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 1. Surface Preparation: Surface shall be prepared by mechanical grinding to remove all loose mortar, laitance, oil, grease, decayed matter and algae growth.2. Filling of Cracks: Identify cracks on the surface and chase them open in the form of grooves. Cutting of cracks shall be done to a size of 5 mm × 5 mm or as required. Fill the grooves properly with Nitoseal PU50 / Dr. Fixit PU Sealant / equivalent approved brand. 3. Priming Coat: The prepared surface shall be applied with one coat of acrylic primer such as Nitoproof WB / Dr. Fixit Primeseal 604 / equivalent approved brand prior to application of waterproof coating. The primer coat shall be air cured for 6 hours.4. Waterproof Coating Application: Apply acrylic elastomeric waterproof coating (Fosroc / Dr. Fixit / equivalent approved brand) at a thickness of 1 mm DFT in three coats with minimum consumption of 1.2–1.5 kg/m². Each coat shall be air cured for 6 hours before application of the subsequent coat.(GST applicable as per DSR-2023).Note: The above work shall be carried out with the help of trained and skilled labour strictly as per manufacturer specifications.
11Filling of Cracks: Identify cracks on the walls and roof surfaces and chase them open in the form of grooves. Cutting of cracks shall be carried out to a size of 5 mm × 5 mm or as required. The grooves shall be cleaned properly and filled with Nitoseal PU50 / Dr. Fixit PU Sealant / equivalent approved brand, a single-component low modulus gun-grade elastomeric sealant based on polyurethane technology.The applied sealant shall have a Movement Accommodation Factor (MAF) of 50% and Shore A Hardness of 32. The material shall possess an average peel strength of 220 N and peak peel strength of 260 N.(GST applicable as per DSR-2023) Note: The above work shall be carried out with the help of trained and skilled labour strictly as per manufacturer specifications.
12Providing and injecting approved grout in proportions recommended by the manufacturer into cracks and honeycombed areas of concrete/RCC/masonry using suitable gun/pump at required pressure, including cutting of nipples after curing, complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.(Payment shall be made on the basis of actual quantity/weight of approved grout injected.)Pressure grouting shall be carried out using Fosroc Cebex 100 / Dr. Fixit Pidigrout 10M or equivalent approved brand. The grout material shall comply with relevant standards and shall be injected using a suitable pressure grout pump at required locations as per manufacturer specifications.In case of Cebex 100, cement slurry shall be prepared by mixing Cebex 100 @ 225 g per 50 kg bag of cement before injection.(GST applicable as per DSR-2023)Note:The above work shall be carried out with the help of trained and skilled labour strictly as per manufacturer specifications.
13Providing water-stopping crack injection resin foam using Nitofill WS60 / Dr. Fixit PU Injection Foam / equivalent approved brand, a two-component foaming liquid polyurethane resin, which when mixed in recommended proportions and injected into cracks in concrete/RCC shall react with moving water to form a foam water-stopping barrier, including drilling, fixing of injection nipples, pressure injection using suitable pump, cutting/removal of nipples after curing and sealing complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The resin shall have a pot life of 6–8 hours at 20°C in the absence of water, specific gravity of 1.14 ± 0.06 and foam density of 0.025.Payment shall be made on the basis of actual quantity/weight of approved grout injected (GST applicable as per DSR-2023). Note: The above work shall be carried out with the help of trained and skilled labour strictly as per manufacturer specifications.
14Grouting the joints of new/existing flooring and wall tiles having joints of 3 mm width after removal of old/damaged joint filling material wherever required and proper cleaning of joints, using epoxy grout mix consisting of 0.70 kg of organic coated filler of approved shade mixed with 0.20 kg resin and 0.10 kg hardener per kg of filler, including filling, grouting, finishing and cleaning of excess material complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The epoxy grout shall be of approved make such as Nitotile GPX / Dr. Fixit Epoxy Tile Grout / Roff Epoxy Grout / equivalent approved brand.(GST applicable as per DSR-2023)Note:The above work shall be carried out with the help of trained and skilled labour strictly as per manufacturer specifications Size of Tile 300x300 mm to 500x500 mm
15Providing and laying Vitrified tiles in floor in different sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS:15622, of approved brand & manufacturer, in all colours and shade, laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand) jointing with grey cement slurry @3.3 kg/sqm including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc. The tiles must be cut with the zero chipping diamond cutter only . Laying of tiles will be done with the notch trowel, plier, wedge, clips of required thickness, leveling system and rubber mallet for placing the tiles gently and easily. 16Providing and fixing unplasticised Rigid PVC SWR Single socketed pipes of 110mm & required fittings and specials conforming to IS : 13592 Type A (pressure of 4kg/sqcm) including jointing with seal ring conforming to IS : 5382 leaving 10 mm gap for thermal expansion including necessary fittings like ss clamps and plain bend with/without access door ,single/double equal/unequal junction of required degree with/without access door, terminal guard, heel rest bend etc complete as per direction of Engineer -in-Charge. (Note: 1. All the joints shall be leak proof .2. The centre line length of pipes shall be measured for the purpose of payment. 3.Floor trap only shall be measured separately for payment).110 mm dia.
