1NOTE:-(i) The bidders/contractors are advised to read tender document & all corrigendum / amendments and General conditions of contracts before entrying/quoting the rates.(ii) It is highlighted that the certain condition of General Condition of Contracts (IAFW-2249) has been modified as per direction of MoD i.e. inclusssion of Performance Security, deletion of Risk & Cost Provisions and increase in defect liability period all as per tender documents. The tenderers should keep in mind while quoting their offer. (iii) (Applicable for all items/parts):- The bidders/contractors are advised to refer Notes on BOQ/SCH'A' before entry/quoting the rates.
2Demolition of brick work or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quions, arches, pillers etc complete all as specified and as directed.
3Demolition of stone slab or tiles of any description or thickness in floors or aprons etc (laid bedded and pointed in any mortar) complete all as specified and as directed.
4Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed.
5Dismantling plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness including Nainital or similar pattern roof covering complete all as specified and as directed.
6Dismantling Wall and ceiling boards (fibre,pulp, insulation, etc.) or insulation boards/slabs/blankets, any thickness, including cover fillets complete all as specified and as directed.
7Taking down wooden chowkats or frames with shutters with exceeding 1.50 Sqm but not exceeding 4.00 Sqm each (without taking of shutters from the frames) complete all as specified and as directed.
8Taking down wooden chowkats or frames with shutters with not exceeding 1.50 Sqm each (without taking of shutters from the frames) complete all as specified and as directed.
9Taking down cement plaster of any description built in cement mortar on brick or stone walls etc including racking out joints, hacking for Key, scrubbing down with water etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
10Demolition of cement concrete of (unreinforced) any description and any position not otherwise specifically provided for and removal of rubbish from the site complete all as specified and as directed.
11Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and paving not exceeding 15cm thick (below or above ground level) and removal of rubbish from the site complete all as specified and as directed.
12Dismantling structural steel work including doors, gates but excluding framed truss etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
13Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or R.C.C.) any section, including taking out embedded portion from Concrete, brick work, masonry, etc. and making good to disturbed ground as in natural ground/ concrete level complete all as specified and as directed.
14Dismantling fencing wire mesh, any type (Galvanised/ Steel barbed wire) complete all as specified and as directed.
15Excavation in post holes (or similar holes) each not exceeding 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around in layers not exceeding 25 cm, watering and removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and making good disturbed surface in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.
16Material and labour for hardcore of gauge not exceeding 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and as directed.
17Material and labour for providing cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concreting complete all as specified and as directed.
18Material and labour for providing cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concreting complete all as specified and as directed.
19Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6) type C2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in surface channel, drains and like etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
20Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B0 (using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in roof kerb or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges complete all as specified and as directed.
21Material and labour for PCC 1:2:4, type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, including necessary use and waste of formwork complete all as specified and as directed.
22Material and labour for 75mm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub base floring and finish the surface fair and even complete all as specified and as directed.
23Material and labour for 75mm thick PCC (1:3:6) type C2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in plinth protection, paving, footpath etc and finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement laid in panels including joint filled with sealing compound complete all as specified and as directed.
24Material and labour for 40mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) in alternative panel as in sub base floring and finish the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.
25Material and labour for plastic dividing strips 38mm wide and 1.5mm thick, inserted in position for design of the PCC floor complete all as specified and as directed.
26Material and labour required extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred/stopped ends etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
27.-Ditto- all as per item No 25.00 above but add or deduct for each 25mm girth or part there of over or under 30cm and -ditto-.
28Material and labour for brick work with sub class `B` bricks, old size, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed.
29Materials and labour for half brick thick brick work with old size sub class 'B' bricks straight or curved on plan to any radius built in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed.
30Supply and fixing for 30mm thick factory made flush door shutters solid core construction with block board core and ply wood face panels commercial type on both faces complete all as specified and as directed.
31Material and labour for mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length bent to shape required, including cranking bending spirally for hooping for columns , hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.90mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed.
32Material and labour for mild steel TMT bars 5mm dia and over and upto and including 10mm dia, cut to length bent to shape required, including cranking bending spirally for hooping for stirrups, spacers, binders and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.90mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed.
33Material and labour for mild steel works as in bands, straps, supports or stays for rainwater, ventilating pipes, including bolts, if required: hooks (stay), heavy, for large gates; hook and pintle hinges: large hasps and staples; chains; hand made sliding bolts; clamps; hold fasts; wall ties; hooks for hanging fans; plain angle cleats for securing purlins to wood trusses or rafters; knee piece inserts; two way and three way straps, plate washers and similar small articles conforming to Fe-290 Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and as directed.
34Supply and fix framed work such as grills, grating, etc, with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted or forged into spikes ; window framed gurad bars ; barred iron doors, laddrs, framed balasters, walk ways, railings framed work of water and similar work conforming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and as directed.
35Material and labour for structural steel roof trusses ( framed), trussed, purlins, crane grantries, rails and fastenings and heavy bracket framing (beam, tee, angle, channel or flat sections) including distance pieces, cleats etc. conforming to Fe 410-W (Gde-E-250) quality-A complete all as specified and as directed.
36Supply and fixing steel work in tubular trusses i.e truss bottom, top bend, sides, side supports, holding plates, posts and base plate etc. including special shaped washers etc complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to IS 1161-1998 grade St-240 etc complete all as specified and as directed.
37Supply and fixing rolled mild steel plates (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, without any attachment conforming to Fe-410-W (Gde-E-250 quality-A) complete all as specified and as directed.
38Supply and fixing stairs (framed) including stringers, treads, landing, balusters, and rails etc., with cleats, brackets, etc., including welding, reveting, punching hole etc. conforming to Fe-410-W (Gde-E-250 quality-A) (working height upto 10m) as in water tank/watch tower complete all as specified and as directed.
39Materials and labour for mild steel fencing posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and as directed.
40Material & Labour for Mild steel screw bolts 5mm to 10mm dia of neck (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, exceeding 5cm and not exceeding 10cm long complete all as specified and as directed.
41Fixing only Chain link fencing 4mm dia galvanised steel wire,100x100mm mesh, made up into mattresses or cages, lapped, wired and laid/fixed in position, including line wires, any mesh, any size,any type of standards rails straining bolts etc including provisioning of binding wires complete all as specified and directed.
42Supply only Chain link fencing 4mm dia GI wire netting having mesh size of 100x100mm, made up into mattresses or cages, lapped, wired and laid/fixed in position complete all as specified and directed.
43Supply and fixing galvanised. 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia. barbed with 2mm dia. barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. as in repair complete all as specified and as directed.
44Supply and fixing pressed steel frames of size 105 x 60 mm for doors with one or more rebates including necessary fixing lugs, hinges, lock strike plate, etc.,complete all as specified and as directed.
45Supply and fixing Anodised powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) frame for doors, windows, ventilators etc with one or more rebates including joining cleat for fixing etc. complete all as specified and as directed
46Supply and fixing Anodised powder coated aluminium window and ventilator shutters, side hung type without sash bars, aluminium sections weighing not less than 0.55 kg/m including necessary joining cleats, glazing clips, rubber packing, anodised aluminium snap beading, screws, anodised aluminium fittings such as peg stays 150mm long (1 no.). hinges type B-21, 100mm long (2 no.) suitable handle (1 no.) complete all as specified and as directed.
47Supply and fixing Anodised aluminium grill (anodised transparent or dyed to required shade according to IS: 1868 with minimum anodic coating of grade AC 15) of approved design/pattern, with approved standard section and fixed to the existing window frame with C.P. brass/ stainless steel screws @ 200 mm centre to centre, including cutting the grill to proper opening size for fixing and operation of handles and fixing approved anodised aluminium standard section around the opening, as per requirement complete all as specified and as directed.
48Supply and fixing 0.50mm thick pre-painted galvalume aluminium Zinc coating GI based corrugated / semi corrugated steel sheet of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws as per manufacturer instruction complete all as specified and as directed.

51Supply and fixing 4.00 mm thick Sheet glass, ordinary quality and glazing with oil putty in square not exceeding 0.50 Sqm in each pane complete all as specified and as directed.
52Supply and fix solid PVC door frame of size 50mm x 47mm made out of 5mm plain colour PVC sheet reinforced with MS square tube complete all as specified and as directed.
53Supply and fix factory made solid panel PVC door shutter 30mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of MS tubes for top and bottom rails. MS frame shall be covered with heat moulded decorative coloured laminates PVC `C` channel having a PVC sheet strip of 20mm width stuck inside with solvent cement for stiles and decorative coloured laminates PVC sheets for top rail, lock rail & bottom rail on either side & as gap insert for top rail or bottom rail ; panelling of decorative coloured laminates PVC sheet to be fitted in the MS frame welded/sealed to the stiles & rails with suitable PVC laminated sheet beeding, and joined together with solvent cement, supplying and fixing in the frame at the site as per specification complete all as specified and as directed.
54Supply and fixing 100mm size stainless steel butt hinges complete all as specified and as directed.
