| 17 | Providing, installing and fixing with necessary clamps etc. retro reflective Single Side Overhead Gantry/Cantilever Signboards comprising of customized modular PU (Poly Urathane) Epoxy coated MS hollow seçtion frame work, aluminum composite panel (ACP) both side PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) coated or as specified as base board, digitally printed micro prismatic retro reflective sheet signange with QR Codes. (i). The horizontal and vertical members of the Mild Steel frame module shall be made of Mild Steel hollow section of size 50x50x3.60mm as per approved drawing and each panel shall be braced diagonally (one way only) with same section. (ii). The aluminum composite panel (ACP)shall have a thickness of 4mm consisting of 3 mm thick non FR grade thermoplastic core of LDPE/ SDPE sandwiched between 0.50 mm thick aluminum sheet. The ACP shall be routed, folded and fixed on the MS frame with VHB (Very High Bond) tape, 24mm wide and 2.3mm thick provided throughout the length and breadth of the frame including riveting at the right angle face of the frame with pop riveting or with self taping Stainless Steel screws 5mm dia spaced not more than 300mm center to center ensuring that no riveting is seen on either face of the frame. (iii). On the front face of the ACP, micro prismatic retro reflective sheet conforming to Type-XI of IRC 67-2022 and ASTM:D4956-17 with digitally printed signs on top of the base retro reflective sheeting covering the entire sign facia (end to end) shall be pressure fixed. The sign shall be manufactured using a system of matched components of reflective sheeting and overlay films and digital inks manufacuted and supplied by the reflective sheeting manufacturer. The digital printer and digital ink shall be approved by the reflective sheeting manufacture. Digitally printed traffic colour (which ever required) areas on white sheeting shall not be having less than 70 percent of the value of the coefficient of retro reflective established for its colour and type of sheeting. (iv). The rear side of the Mild Steel frame shall be covered with balancing ACP of the same description as mentioned above and shall be fixed in the similar manner as described above. The edges of the board shall be covered all-round with powder coated (should not less than 50 microne) die cast extruded aluminum channel of required color and shade of size 68x12x2 mm or adiquate size The channel shall be fixed using two rows of double sided Very High Bond tape of above description The channel shall further be secured by pop rivets having Stainless Steel screws of 5 mm dia at junctions and corners. (v). Labes/QR Code to be printed on signage at bottom right side corner (2”x2”) with details like name of manufacture, date of manufacturing, code of reflective sheeting used, warranty etc. Note:- The rate shall include all materials, labour, equipments, fabrication transportation, erection, installation lowering down the structural frame from the gantry, fixing and erecting the same in position and incidentals all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Only front area of the board shall be measured for payment i.e. only one side shall be measured for payment (All structural steel work shall be paid for separately under the relevant agreement item, except Mild Steel hollow section frame work and fixing arrangement with clamps for the sign boards which are included in this item) |
