| 1 | Providing manpower under the Skilled Category for deployment of 04 Pump Operators (02 operators in each shift) for running, operation and monitoring of fountains installed at Maude Road, Delhi Cantt. The pump operators shall be deployed in shifts with proposed shift timings of 06:00 AM to 02:00 PM (morning shift) and 04:00 PM to 12:00 PM (evening shift) and/or as decided by the Engineer-in-Charge. The deployed pump operators shall be responsible for the proper operation, monitoring and routine functioning of the fountains as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. Minimum Wages & other Statutory Charges details as payable to the labour/manpower engaged under the contract shall be as under:Basic Pay- Rs. 26,208.00EPF @13% upto 15000/- - Rs. 1950.00Total- Rs. 28,158.00Reliever Charges (1/6th)- Rs. 4693.00Total- Rs. 32,851.00 The minimum wages payable to Skilled Category shall be Rs. 32,851/- per month as per the breakdown details given above. The bidder is required (shall be entitled) to quote service charges per person that would be charged by him for provisioning of manpower subject to minimum 3.85% over the amount of Rs. 32,851/-. The Bidder may quote any percentage of charges as per his calculations & estimation, however in no case the service charge should be less than 3.85% or minimum service charges, however Contractor may quote higher sservice charges as per his discretion. The quoting of lower percentage than 3.85% towards service charges may result in to tender being considered as non-responsive. |
| 2 | Comprehensive maintenance of 10 Nos. fountains installed at Maude Road, Delhi Cantt., including replacement of defective parts/components required for smooth and uninterrupted functioning of fountains. The work shall include regular checking, cleaning and maintenance of fountain pumps/motors, nozzles, pipelines, valves, electrical panels, starters, cables, lighting systems, control panels and all allied accessories connected with the fountain system. The scope shall also include replacement of consumable items, servicing of pumps/motors, lubrication, tightening of electrical connections, checking of insulation, earthing, timers, relays, switches, control equipment and other related components as required for efficient operation of the fountains.The contractor shall carry out daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly comprehensive maintenance of all fountain systems, including cleaning of fountain tanks, removal of algae/deposits, checking of water circulation system, upkeep of electrical and mechanical components, painting/touch-up of exposed metallic parts wherever required and rectification of defects to ensure proper functioning of all 10 Nos. fountains. The cost of all required materials, consumables and replacement of defective parts/components shall be included in the scope of work.The contractor shall also maintain maintenance schedule registers to record details of all inspections, breakdowns, repairs and maintenance activities carried out under daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly maintenance programmes as per the format prescribed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The entire work shall be carried out as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge for ensuring uninterrupted operation and proper upkeep of the fountains installed at Maude Road, Delhi Cantt.
