The transformer shall conform to latest amendments of IS-1180 (Part-1):2014. Transformer shall be suitable for outdoor operation under Indian climatic conditions. The transformer shall have: HV side: Delta connected LV side: Star connected with neutral brought out Vector group: DYN-11 Tapping: Off-load tap changer on HV side with taps of ±2.5%, ±5%, ±7.5% in steps of 2.5% Cooling: ONAN with radiators/cooling fins Technical requirements i. Winding: Electrolytic grade copper ii. Insulation: As per IS standards iii. Percentage impedance: As per IS 1180 iv. Losses: As per Energy Efficiency Level-2 / latest BEE norms v. Temperature rise limits: As per IS 1180 vi. Vector group: DYN-11 mandatory vii.Neutral brought out and suitable for solid earthing Accessories & fittings i. Cable end box on HV side suitable for 95 sqmm 3 core size XLPE cable. ii. Cable end box on LV side suitable for 95 sqmm 3.5 Core size XLPE cable with cable glands. |

Notes:-(i) The drawing of transformer shall be approved by accepting officer on receipt of request from the contractor through GE. (ii) The transformer shall be tested as per IS for all routine tests in the factory premises and reports will be deposited with purchase voucher. (iii) Factory inspection and testing of the transformer shall be carried out in the presence of the representative of the Accepting Officer/SEI/IEM, and all associated charges shall be borne by the contractor. |
