166Cutting of trees more than 60 cm girth including depositing the wood at nominated locations with loading, transporting etc. The contractor shall obtain necessary approval from concerned authorities for cutting/transplanting trees. The required payment to concerned authority for obtaining permission will be made by MRVC.

170Transplanting of existing trees by uprooting, shifting & placing in pits excavated of suitable size within one KM distance and refilling with manure & soil and maintaining the plant for 12 months. (iii) 30% payment will be made after maintenance of one year for survived trees. The trees transplanted under this item will not be considered for payment under item 21 for cutting.
171Obtaining administrative approval from tree authority for the cutting/transplanting of trees coming in the way of proposed work including preparation of drawing showing the details of trees, processing for the sanction etc. complete. 1732.0 SHE Provision for Vasai TSS
174Payment for ensuring implementation and monitoring of all provisions in Safety, Health and Environmental Manual (SHE Manual) of MRVC during execution of works through entire contract period including deployment of required SHE organization as mentioned in SHE manual and explanatory note with required qualification, arranging training to all workers and staff engaged for work, regular health check up of labours, arranging SHE meetings, SHE Inspection, SHE audit, SHE communication i.e. posters/signages/VIDEO/Audio, SHE housekeeping, Safety training, provision of protective wears, labour welfare measures, Environmental management, traffic management of vehicles for construction activities, etc. complete as detailed in Safety, Health and Environment manual of MRVC. Note:-1. Payment against the BOQ will be made at quoted price of item for work done & billed in each interim payment.2. Separate SHE organization/team shall be deployed with required adequate support staff as mentioned.3. Penalty will be imposed for failure or violations in implementation of SHE manual provisions as mentioned in Part V of SHE Manual.4. Persistent failure or violation of SHE manual provision may attract termination of contract.5. Payment will be released with each interim payment as per quoted price by the contractor for the item after recovering penalties imposed for violation of provisionagainst manual, if any.6. In case of no progress of work, no payment will be made under the item.7. The works regulations and operational guidelines regarding Safety, Health and Environment are applicable and the above item of implementation/compliance includes the same.8.
