Name of Work:- e-TENDER FOR EXTERNAL STRUCTURAL REPAIRS & EXTERNAL PAINTING OF NABARD TAMIL NADU REGIONAL OFFICE, CHENNAI

1Scaffolding WorksSupplying and erecting Safety Scaffolding arrangement using Cup-lock system, having a standard width of 1.20m, provided for working platform in the peripheral area of the high rise building. The Safety Scaffolding arrangement shall be formed by using vertical hot rolled steel pipe of 40mm diameter with a thickness of 2.90mm. The vertical pipe shall have a steel cup arrangement of 80mm diameter to hold the horizontal ledger pipe with top movable lock arrangement made up of Cast Iron. The above cup arrangement to hold the ledger pipe shall be welded to the vertical pipe at a distance of every 0.50m c/c. The horizontal ledger pipe with various lengths ranging from 0.90m to 2.0m may be used with a diameter of 40mm and with a thickness of 2.90mm made up of Hot rolled steel. The horizontal ledger pipe shall be provided at a vertical height of every 1m. Both the ends of the horizontal ledger pipe shall be welded with a steel plate of 100mm length and a width of 60mm at the center and 35mm at both the ends. Suitable double nylon safety net of approximately 25 mm mesh size shall be provided at about 4.0 m height from ground level around the building, extending at least 3.0 m from the building edge, wherever required, to protect persons, vehicles and property from falling materials. No extra charges shall be paid for it

4Removal of Horizontal RCC Fin StripsCarefully chipping, cutting and removing existing damaged horizontal RCC fin strips / projections, including removal of loose and spalled concrete upto 75mm thickness, cutting/removal of embedded reinforcement where required, taking necessary safety precautions, protecting adjoining surfaces, lowering of dismantled materials, stacking of serviceable materials if any, disposal of debris outside the site as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, including all labour, tools, tackles, equipment and incidentals complete.
5RCC Fin Wall AnchoringDrilling holes of suitable diameter and depth in RCC beams and fin walls as per approved structural drawings, fixing reinforcement/anchor rods with approved chemical anchoring system, cleaning and treating exposed reinforcement with anti-corrosive coating, applying bonding agent, and restoring the damaged portions with polymer-modified repair mortar/micro-concrete, including curing, finishing, scaffolding, disposal of debris, and all labour, materials, tools, and incidentals complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge and as shown in the drawings.
6TMT Reinforcement WorksSupplying, fabricating and placing in position Ribbed Tor Steel / TMT reinforcement grills of all variety like HYSD/CTD/TMTand all grade like Fe 500, Fe550D, Fe 500 D etc., for all RCC works as per design given including cost of steel reinforcement and G.I. binding wire, wastage etc. complete complying with standard specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
7Rebar Treatment & BondingCarefully remove damaged plaster and loose concrete from the affected areas, clean the exposed reinforcement thoroughly by removing dirt, rust, scales, and other corrosion products using approved rust remover and mechanical cleaning methods. Apply epoxy zinc-rich primer to the cleaned reinforcement for corrosion protection. Apply approved epoxy bonding adhesive having coverage 2.20 sqm/kg of approved make between the hardened existing concrete surface and the fresh repair concrete/mortar, complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
8Wire Mesh FixingProviding and fixing hard drawn steel wire fabric of size 75 x25 mm mesh of 3 mm dia or other suitable size wire mesh to be fixed & firmly anchored to the concrete surface by means of “L” shaped mild steel shear key welded with existing reinforcement including the cost of materials, labour, tool & plants as approved by Engineer-in-charge.
9Shuttering & FormworkSupplying and erecting centering for plane surfaces such as RCC Floor/Roof Beam, Lintels, Cantilever Beams, Bed Blocks etc.. with necessary supports and strutting upto 3.60m height in all floors with all cross bracings using MS Sheets made of 10 gauge thick welded with MS angle of Size 25mm x 25mm x 3mm for boarding laid over Steel adjustable Span of Size 2m x 2m (expandable upto 3.60m) and Silver Oak Joists of Size 10 x 5 cm spaced at 50cm to 60cm c/c and supported by Steel Adjustable Telescopic Props of Size 2m x 2m (expandable upto 3.60m) made with outer steel pipe with dia 50mm (3.60mm thick) and inner steel pipe with dia 40mm (2.90mm thick) Spaced at not more than 50 to 60cm c/c , etc complete complying with standard specifications. Steel adjustable span and Steel Adjustable telescopic props shall be provided as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
10RCC / Micro-Concrete JacketingProvide RCC jacketing to the existing fin walls as detailed in the approved structural drawings, including surface preparation, drilling and fixing dowel bars/anchors with chemical adhesive, placing reinforcement, shuttering, and casting with free-flow, non-shrink, high-strength cementitious micro-concrete (minimum compressive strength 45 MPa at 28 days), such as MasterEmaco S 488, Fosroc Renderoc RG, Dr. Fixit Micro Concrete, or approved equivalent, to restore the structural strength, stability, and durability of the fin walls. The work shall include curing, finishing, and all necessary materials, labour, tools, and equipment complete. The elevation jaali shall be installed only after completion of the strengthening works, strictly in accordance with the approved structural drawings and the Engineer-in-Charge's instructions.
11M25 Concrete WorksProviding and laying in position, Standardised Concrete Mix M-25 Grade using In-situ Concrete batching plant/ Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) adopting weigh batch method in accordance with IS:456-2000 using 20mm and down graded hard broken granite stone jelly for all RCC items of works with minimum cement content of 350 kg/m3 and maximum water cement ratio of 0.50, including admixture (plasticiser / superplasticiser) in recommended proportions as per IS:9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability with about (5.0 Cu.m) 7730 kg. of 20mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (3.3 Cu.m) 5156 kg. of 10-12mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (4.79 cu.m’) 7670 kg. of crushed stone sand, but excluding cost of reinforcement grill and fabricating charges, centering and shuttering and also including Conveyance of concrete from batching plant to Work site, Electricity charges and other works & labour cost involved for concrete production, laying, vibrating with mechanical vibrators, finishing, curing, etc. and providing fixtures like fan clamps in the RCC floor/ roof slabs wherever necessary without claiming extra, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. The coarse and fine aggregates to be used should comply with the requirements of IS Standards.
12Decorative MS Jali WorkProviding, fabricating and fixing decorative CNC MS Jaali panel of overall size 1000 mm × 1640 mm (or as per approved drawing), comprising outer and intermediate framework of SHS 25×25×2 mm square hollow sections conforming to IS 4923, infilled with 3 mm thick MS plates cut to approved pattern by CNC laser/plasma cutting, including welding, grinding, edge finishing, fixing with necessary MS cleats, anchor fasteners, zinc-rich primer, epoxy primer and powder coating/PU paint finish of approved shade, complete in all respects as per drawings and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
13Sunshade WaterproofingRectification of damaged RCC sunshades by removing loose concrete, cracks, and defective plaster, carrying out necessary repairs to RCC members, and treating dampness/leakage by providing approved waterproofing treatment using Dr. Fixit products such as Dr. Fixit Pidiproof LW+ or its equivalent in approved brand. The work shall include surface preparation, crack sealing, waterproofing application, re-plastering where required, curing, finishing, scaffolding, and all labour, materials, tools, and incidentals complete to arrest water ingress and restore the sunshade to a watertight condition. 14Wall Crack TreatmentCracks Surface must be free from dust, oil, grease, and loose particles, etc. Moisten the surface before applying Crack-X Shrink free. The cracks must be widened in V shape groove and SSD before filling Shrinkfree. For filling Crack-X Shrinkfree on the internal surfaces, existing POP or painter’s putty must be removed till plaster surface is exposed. Handball application can also be used as per the convenience. Care must be taken to avoid formation of cavities or bubbles during application. Further POP or painters putty application can be taken up once it is fully dry.
15Plastering WorksPlastering the surface of walls with Cement Mortar 1:3 (One cement and Three plastering sand), 20mm thick in all floors including mortar plasticizer at 200ml per 50Kg of cement used , curing etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
16uPVC Window WorksSupply and installation of two-track sliding uPVC windows of approved brands shall utilize uPVC profile sections with an outer wall thickness of 2.30mm (±0.2mm), featuring an outer frame of 60mm x 52mm, a shutter of 66mm x 42mm x 50mm, an interlock of 45mm x 36mm, and a glazing bead of 24.5mm x 16mm. All frame, sash, and mullion profiles shall be reinforced, where required, with a 1mm thick GI steel section, and windows are to be equipped with security devices such as touch locks or crescent locks, nylon rollers, and an aluminium track, all compliant with relevant specifications and directed by Enginee-in-charge. Glazing shall consist of 5mm thick Plain or Pinhead glass, secured by TPE (Grey) weather-sealed gaskets, while all corners and mullion points of the frame and sash shall be mitred cut and fusion welded without mechanical joints, with all welded joints neatly trimmed to a grooved nib finish, ensuring sharp- edge-free products. The complete window units shall be fixed into pre-finished openings by drilling and fastening through the outer frame with high- quality fasteners, and silicon sealant shall be applied to fill the gap between the wall and window. During the removal of existing windows and installation of new windows, the contractor shall provide temporary covering and sealing of the affected openings/areas to prevent leakage of conditioned air and ingress of external light, dust, and other environmental elements into the building.
17Acoustic Window WorksSupply and installation of acoustic uPVC swing doors of approved brands shall utilize uPVC profile sections with an outer wall thickness of 2.30mm (±0.2mm), featuring an outer frame of minimum 60mm x 60mm (or equivalent heavy-duty frame section), a door shutter of minimum 66mm x 50mm (or equivalent), with provision of reinforced mullions where required. All frame, shutter, and mullion profiles shall be reinforced, where necessary, with a 1mm thick GI steel section.The doors shall be fitted with approved hardware including heavy-duty SS hinges (minimum 3 per shutter), multipoint locking system or mortise lock with handle, door closers (where specified), and EPDM/TPE gaskets for proper sealing, all complying with relevant specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.Glazing shall consist of soundproof (acoustic) glass, preferably double-glazed units incorporating laminated acoustic interlayers (minimum 5mm + 9/12mm air gap + 5mm laminated acoustic glass or equivalent), designed to achieve effective noise reduction. The glazing shall be fixed using TPE (Grey) weather-sealed gaskets ensuring airtight sealing and enhanced acoustic performance.All corners and joints of the frame and shutter shall be mitred, fusion welded without mechanical joints, and finished with neatly trimmed smooth surfaces ensuring sharp-edge-free profiles.The complete door units shall be installed in pre-finished openings by drilling and fastening through the outer frame using high-quality fasteners. The gap between the wall and door frame shall be sealed using silicone sealant to ensure proper insulation, weatherproofing, and enhanced acoustic sealing. During the removal of existing windows and installation of new windows, the contractor shall provide temporary covering and sealing of the affected openings/areas to prevent leakage of conditioned air and ingress of external light, dust, and other environmental elements into the building.
18Anti-Carbonation PaintingSupply & Apply of Stanvac make 753 Stangard Anti Carbonation & Water Seepage prevention or its equivalent approved brnds which includes One Coat of Primer and Two coats of Water Proof Exterior Emulsion Paint and Including a) Inspect the entire surface for cracks, peeling paint, damp patches, honeycombs, laitance and loose particles, b) Remove all existing paint/coating by mechanical scraping, wire brushing or light grinding,c)Clean the surface using water jet / washing to remove dust, oil, algae, grease and contaminants. Allow the surface to dry completely before further work. f. Paint shade and colour and pattern shall be approved by the Engineer-in-Charge and applied in accordance with manufacturer recommendations to achieve the specified performance and durability.
