No.RST 11630. Each set of bond plates should consist of (i) SS taper pins - 8 nos (ii) SS M6 nuts - 20 nos. (iii) SS M6 plane washers - 32 nos. (iv) Spring washer - 8 nos. (v) Nylon nuts - 8 nos. 78Miscellaneous Items.
79As and when required by the Engineer in charge arranging /providing of unskilled manpower for various safety related works such as protection of track etc. with contractor's T&P, equipment, hand signal flags, spanners, hammers, etc. as per as per details mentioned in scope of work. Inspection by Consignee.
80Skilled manpower to be provided by contractor for monitoring JCB working. The manpower shall provide marking & supervisory work for the protection of S&T cables during digging work by JCB's and repairing /restoring/jointing of cables, if damaged Jointing Kit shall be provided by MRVC. Manpower shall mark the location with white chuna. White Chuna shall be provided by contractor. Information for deputing Skilled Manpower will be provided by MRVC Engineer in charge 24 hours in advance from commencement of digging work by JCBs. They will check cables route by Cable route tracer and will do chuna marking and will show the cables (on rough sketch) available in a small length approximate 50-100 meters of digging. Note: Minimum two man will be provided at a time including Cable jointer, they will stay whole time during JCB digging work. (The CV to be got approved by MRVC). Inspection by Consignee.
81Hiring of JCB Machine (in good working condition) for levelling and dressing ground/dismantling structures including disposal of debris through dumpers etc. with contractor's labour, JCB machine, machine operator, fuel, etc. The contractor shall arrange road permit for vehicle for all the states of operation, as per instructions of engineer in charge and vehicle shall not be more than three years old. Inspection by Consignee.
82Provision of temporary Goomty of 3X3X2.5 Mtr on hire for NI working made up of waterproof tent with provision of one table, one chair and two incandescent lamps. (Electrical connection will be provided by MRVC). Inspection by Consignee.
83Transportation of Signalling material/equipments including loading and unloading in 10MT vehicle, anywhere to anywhere, and stacking at destination as per instructions of SSE in-charge as per inventory. For carrying heavy materials like cable drums, DG set, Electrical Lifting barrier pedestal, IPS, Batteries, Point machine etc. This transportation item is for carrying materials as per specific / emergency requirement as per instruction of SSE S MRVC. Transportation material from Store Depot to Station/Specific site and from Station to Station in Kalyan – Badlapur section is not covered under this Item. Inspection by Consignee.
84Supply & Fixing of Stop Board, Block section limit Board, goods warning board and all other boards with contractors own material. The work shall be done as per instruction of Engineer in charge. Inspection by Consignee.

104Excavation and Casting of Main signal foundation as per Drg No SK 801 with contractor's own materials including cement and anchor bolts of standard size. The required scaffolding Ferma etc for Casting of foundation will have to be brought by the contractor at his own cost. One sample of foundation is to be got approved from Engineer In-charge before execution. Inspection by Consignee.
105Excavation and Casting of Shunt signal foundation as per Drg No SK 802 with contractor's own materials including cement and anchor bolts of standard size. The required scaffolding Ferma etc for Casting of foundation will have to be brought by the contractor at his own cost. 114Termination of Tail cable inside the point machine through bend pipe this includes preparatory work of pulling the cables, and peeling out the insulation, dressing and lacing after termination etc., pulling of tail cable as per circuit requirement inside point machine through bend pipe, termination of cables on terminal blocks as per instruction of site supervisor the cable shall be entered in such a way that, armouring shall protect the cable near sharp edge of entry point and armouring shall be clamped between pipe fixing bracket and boy of point machine. 117Installation of complete assembly of track device/double rail contact unit for entry or exist with conductors all material including drilling of required sizes holes on rails for fixing these, taking the cable lead through anti-rodent, anti-oxidant & non-flame propagating type Double walled corrugated (DWC) pipe as per RDSO/SPN/204/2011 Ver.1.1 with Amd.1 or latest from track device to location box and terminating it on terminals including digging of trench under track and upto location/Track side unit and all other accessories as per site requirement for laying of transmitter and receiver cable with suitable wire embedded rubber pipe with clamp for protecting these cables at DP end. Entire required work excluding deflector plates of wiring/fixing on field site is included. The work must be executed as per TAN No. TAN- STS/E/TAN/7010 version 1.0 or latest issued from RDSO/OEM's manual. All requisite materials like Lug, Nut bolts, DWC pipe, Wires, PVC pipe, PVC bends etc. for complete installation shall be provided by Contractor. Inspection by Consignee.

120Supply and fixing of track lead connections of Siemens AFTC by providing duplicate (Doubled) copper cables from each rail to tuning unit and tuning unit to centre of S bond as per drg. No. RST 11930. In total six copper cables will required to be connected. All copper cable should be of 25 sq mm cross section made of multi stranded copper wire as per IS 694 of 1990 with latest amendment if any. All copper cables should be crimped with suitable size tinned copper lugs at both the ends. This also includes fixing of two bond plates in each of the rail by drilling holes of 7.2mm on web of rails as per standard practise of Rlys, terminating copper cables on one side of bond plate fixed on rail and on other sider of terminal inside the tuning unit. Copper cables are to be taken through HDPE pipe. Bond plates with pins and pipe would be supplied by Rlys. All other items should be arranged by contractor. Execution of complete work shall constitute on set. Inspection by Consignee.
121Supply & fixing of S bonds connections of siemens type AFTC by providing S bonds of suitable size as per drg. RST 11930. Bonds should be made of duplicate (doubled) PVC 4mm wall thickness coated wire rope of cross section approx.185 sq mm. PVC coated wire rope should be as per IS 2266 of 1978 and PVC sheating should be of compound type six as per IS 5831 of 1970 with latest amendments if any. Reclaimed or recycled materials should not be used. Brass lug should be brazed at both the ends of S bonds and brass terminal at in the centre of S bond as per sample and drg. S bond are to be fixed along the foot of rails in the form of \\"S\\" and both the ends of brass lugs are to be connected to rails by putting one rivet and one SS taper pin at both the ends. Length of S bonds is to be as per site requirement. Inspection by Consignee.

139Transferring of signalling/Telecom cables from existing location box to New location box. The work include breaking/dismantling of existing foundation of locations, excavating and removing /segregating coils of this cables which may be of about 10 mtr in length .These cables are then to be disconnected and removed from the existing locations one by one as per the instructions and under the supervision of railway staff present at site. The cable is then to be inserted and terminated in new location box. The item includes neatly dressing of cables marking wiring tree etc. The material required for dressing /lacing will be arranged by contractor at its own cost. The work is required to be done systematically and with due precaution during the night block of 2.00-2.30 hrs each or within the time that may be allowed. The excavation work to be done carefully without damaging the cables to avoid undue failures. (Termination charges will be given separately) Note: Proportionate payment will be made if cable is of other length. 2/6/12/19/24/30 core signalling cable/4 or 6 Quad/PIJF/Any Signalling/Telecom Cable(One no. unit= One cable of 10 m length).
