| 1 | The damaged false ceiling plywood at various interior locations of the vessel—namely the wheelhouse and VIP room (425 sq. ft), kitchen (230 sq. ft), emergency hatch (12 sq. ft), dining hall for officers and crew (70 sq. ft), starboard side above the sewage tank with plywood and aluminum sheet (23 sq. ft), and officer & crew mesh area (16 sq. ft), covering an approximate total area of 850 sq. ft—shall be renewed using marine-grade, fire-retardant plywood of minimum 12 mm thickness (6–9 mm for light-duty areas, if approved), conforming to IS:710 and IS:5509, along with all necessary corrosion-resistant securing fittings, with the work to be carried out under the supervision of the IRS/IWT Surveyor and in accordance with the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge (EIC). |

Bed lights, emergency lights, DC lights, navigation lights, floodlights, searchlights, switches, sockets, switchboards, horn, the main switchboard, and four relays in the main switchboard that are not working are also to be inspected for operational readiness. The electrical panel boards in the engine room and wheelhouse are to be examined, and any defects are to be rectified under the supervision of the IRS/IWT Surveyor and in accordance with the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. |
