| 1 | M & L for preparing of unsurfaced water bound macadam surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags or with mechanical air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen VG-10) @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 2 | M & L for premix bituminous macadam laid/rolled with mechanical paver and material transported in tipped (covered) rolled with vibrating roller and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) using binder content of paving bitumen (any penetration) (VG-30) by 4 % weight of total mix, complete all as specified and directed.Note (a) 5 Nos of core cutter taest to be carried out by contractor on this own cost before laying of SDAC on BM surface at location directed by Eingineer-in charge and test report to be submitted before processing RAR/payment (CTL/IIT Roorkee/ any govt Instituation S approved by GE.(b) The Unit rates are worked out on basis of binder content of 4% by total mix, any additional/ deduction in the actual binder contact used, the rates shall be adjusted as Per Given in SSR-II. |
