| 6 | Modification/ coversion of existing Charpoy GI Pipe with Nylon Newar to Hard Top (Charpoy GI Pipe with Ply Top) with necessary arrangement & fittings as follows after removal of unsv newar and wooden blocks at bottom of legs complete all as specified and as directed :-(i) Fixing two Nos stiffeners of 32mm x 32mm x 2mm mild steel tube along width of long rail dividing length into three parts using welding throught edges.(ii) Stiffeners shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer.(iii) Supply & fixing of 12mm thick commercial plywood (7 ply), boiling water resistance (BWR) Grade, AA type as per IS 303 : 1989 and subsequent version of appropriate size fixed over the Long rails, Short Rails & mild steel stiffeners with SS 14 Nos Nut & bolts incl washers of approprite size. (Make of plywood : Green Ply/ Duro Ply/ Century Ply).(iv) All the surface of charpoy to be prepared with emery paper/grinder to remove rust and be painted with two coats of paint of shade as approved by GE/Engineer-in-Charge.(Make: Berger/Asian/Nerolac).Drg No. FD-220 |
