8Excavation of any approved type of soil in approved borrow area by mechanical means and unloading the soil within the lead of 5 KM on properly prepared & scientificaly approved surface including spreading & levelling the earth in 22.5cm layers to make ready for watering & compaction with sheep foot roller & dozers but excluding watering & compaction in dams & dykes for all heights including construction maintenance , watering & lighting of haul road & borrow area etc complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (Measurement of the fill to be taken on the finished compacted section under OMC condition.)
9Providind and laying of cement concrete of grade 1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size of approved quality from quarry mixing in concrete mixer,lowering and compacting in proper thickness ,watering and curing for the required period.including all cost of labour material ,conveyance, royalities and taxes, sundries,T&P etc,but excluding cost of centering and shuttering all complete as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.
10Construction of granular sub-base by providing of grading-VI material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the.
11Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches plinth sides of foundation etc.in layers not exceeding 20 cm in deepth ,consolidating each deposited layers by ramming and watering ,lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 mt. etc including cost of all labour , sundries etc complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.
12Supplying, diluting and preparing chemical emulsion like CHLORPYRIPHOS or other chemicals approved by Central Insecticides Board or as directed by the manufacturer and spraying the mixture uniformly by sprayer as pre-constructional anti termite treatment and creating a chemical barrier under and around the column pits, wall trenches, basement excavation, top surface of plinth filling, junction of walls and floors along with external perimeter of the building, expansion joints, surrounding the pipes and conduits etc. complete at the rate of 7.5 liters (or as directed by the manufacturer) per SQM on vertical and 5.0 liters per SQM on horizontal surfaces, 50% of the emulsion to be filled in the holes made in trenches at 150mm center to center etc.complete as per IS:6313/1981(Part-II) and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge including cost of all materials, labour, taxes, etc. complete.
