Name of Work:- Civil works for water supply pipelines, including valves, pipeline replacement, repair and maintenance works, construction of chambers, and allied works at CSIR-NEERI,Nagpur.

6Earth work in surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm in depth but exceeding 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan including getting out and disposal of excavated earth upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in- Charge:

8Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains ( exceeding 1.5 m in width or not exceeding 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m. Disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed.

12Note for item no. 6 (2.24):- The extra percentage rate is applicable in respect of item 4 but limited to quantities of work executed in these difficult conditions. The unit, namely, metre depth, to be considered for payment, shall be the depth measured from the sub soil water level up to the centre of gravity of the qty executed in difficult conditions. The depth shall be reckoned correct to 0.10 m, 0.05 m or more shall be taken as0.10 m and less than 0.05 m ignored
13Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.
14Extra for every additional lift of 1.5 m or part thereof in excavation /banking excavated or stacked materials.
15All kinds of soil.
16Excavating trenches of required width for pipes, cables, etc including excavation for sockets, and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, depth upto 1.5 m including getting out the excavated soil, and then returning the soil as required, in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, etc. and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m :

25Note for item No. 2(4.15):- The quantity will be calculated by multiplying the depth measured from the sub-soil water level up to centre of gravity of concrete under sub-soil water level with quantity of concrete in cum executed under sub-soil water. The depth of centre of gravity shall be reckoned correct to 0.1m. (0.05m or more shall be taken as 0.1m and less than 0.05m ignored).

78Removing, dismantling, shifting and refixing of the old existing water meter with stainer and bend assembly ( CI 100 mm dia. pipe fitting) at new chamber with bolts, nuts, rubber insertions etc. complete as approved by the Engineer in charge. (Mechanical joint, tail piece if required will be paid seperately.)
79Providing and fixing threaded flange (100x50 mm) with making connection of 100 mm CI pipe with 50 mm dia. GI pipe with gasket, nut bolts etc. complete as per the instruction of the Engineer incharge.
80Providing and fixing gland packing for the CI Sluice valve of dia. 100 mm to 150 mm etc. complete as per the instruction of the Engineer in charge.
81Drilling core/hole of dia. 150 - 200 mm by means of diamond core drilling machine through 200 mm RCC wall of the water sump 1.2 m below the ground for incertion of 150 mm CI pipe in side the sump wall . Item includes the treatment for water tighness along the periphery of the CI pipe to be incerted in the RCC wall all complete as per the instruction of the Engineer incharge.
82Supply laying and compacting of Ready mix Bitumenious mixture InstaPatch (PST) on road as per direction of the Engineer in charge.
83Supply of labours on daily wages as per the wages not less than the latest wages for the employee in construction or maintenance of roads or in building operation as per latest notification published by office or the regional labour commissioner (Central) including all taxes and contractor profit etc. Complete.
84Supplying & laying boulder & hard murum below floor and plinth including watering compacting by vibrator machine & consolidating in layer not more than 200mm thick etc. complete as per the instruction of Engineer in charge. (Compacted volume of murum on ground at site will be measured for payment)
85Supplying & laying stone dust over compacted murum with proper slope for base of concrete up to plinth including watering compacting & consolidating etc. complete as per the instruction of Engineer in charge. (Actual volume of the supply container at site will be measured for payment)
86Trimming of the tree branches (up to 150 mm dia.)causing damage to the adjacent structure and the branches in danger with stacking it in the premises including all carrage up to 100 m etc complete as per the direction of the Engineer in charge.
87Hire charges for hydraulic excavator, (3D) with driver and fuel charges for excavation,cleaning removal of the building rubbish / malba, soil,wooden logs, dried trees, bushes etc. work including loading,cleaning the other material as per the direction of engineer-in-charge. (For actual working period of 8 hours per day)
