1DUG WELL NO-1Dewatering by pumps including all leads, lifts and making all arrangements of disposal, where continuous flow of water from a source other than natural or ground water is encountered in case of emergency maintenance works related to leakage, breakage and making wet connections. [Note :- In case of any other situation demanding such emergency dewatering.use of this item is to be approved by the Superintending Engineer/TenderAccepting Authority. This item shall be executed on the specific directionduly supported by proper clarification of the E.I.C. who will be satisfiedin absolute discretion that such work has not been necessitated due toany natural source of water or any fault of the Contractor]
2Cleaning rubbish, sludge, weeds scum, liquid earth, mud etc. from conduits of any dia. above 900 mm and from any depth, etc. by mathor labour after removing concrete slab / manhole cover etc.without damaging the same and refixing the sameproperly after cleaning as necessary and removingthe sludge etc. by using iron pans, buckets includingall labour, tools & plants including expulsion ofimpure / inflammable / asphyxiating gases from thedrains etc. and removing the spoils in dry conditionand disposing the same by truck beyond the areaof Municipal Corporation / Municipality / NotifiedArea Authority / Industrial Township Authority etc.for such disposal including the cost of loading,unloading, transportation and making arrangementof necessary land for disposal, spreading andleveling as necessary etc. and cleaning the road side in all respects, complete as per direction of theEngineer- in-Charge. (Land for disposal to bearranged by the contractor).(Payment will be made on the basis of actual stackmeasurment of spoils in dry condition at roadside)For Day:
3Stripping off worn out plaster and raking outjoints of walls, celings etc. upto any height and inany floor including removing rubbish within alead of 75m as directed.
4Plaster (to wall, floor, ceiling etc.) with sand and cement mortar including rounding off or chamfering corners as directed and raking out joints including throating, nosing and drip course, scaffolding/staging where necessary (ground floor). [Excluding cost of chipping over concrete surface]. 20 MM THICK, PLASTER
5Neat cement punning for waterproofing of well casing (internal face).
6FOR WATER PROOFING CHEMICALS L.S (Extra rate for using water proofing and plasticising admixture @ 0.2% byweight of cement (or at manufacturer's specified rate) for concrete of variousgrades.)
7Reconstruction of parapet wall (250mm brick masonry in CM 1:4) around well mouth.
8Ordinary cement concrete (mix 1:1.5:3) with graded stone chips (20mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement, if any, in ground floor as per relevant codes.
9Hire and labour charge for shuttering with centreing and necessary staging up to 4 m. using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams, columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting fixing and striking out after completion of works. (up to roof of ground floor).
10Reinforcement for reinforced concrete work in all sorts of structures including distribution bars, stirrups, binders etc. initial straightening and removal of loose rust (if necessary), cutting to requisite length, hooking and bending to correct shape, placing in proper position and binding with 16 gauge black annealed wire at inter-section, complete as per drawing and direction.
11For grating on top of wellM.S.or W.I. Ornamental grill of approved design jointscontinuously welded with M.S, W.I. Flats and bars of windows,railing etc. fitted and fixed with necessary screws and lugs in groundfloor.(ii) Grill weighing above 16 Kg./sq.mtr and aboveThe weight of grill per sq.m. will be determined by taking thephysical weight of fabricated grill and dividing the same by coveredarea of the same.
12Supplying MS rod of 20 mm dia , making C shaped steps and Fitting fixing the same jamming with concrete in the wall of well of shape 400 mm horizontal two legs (350 mm inserted inserted in wall+250 mm projected outside wall) each of 600 mm
13MS structural work for 2 stand madeup of 65x65x6 angle at least 400 mm abobe parapet for wheel rod of 20 mm dia MS rods etc, fitting 100 mm dia pulley, supplying nylon rope of sufficient length, 1 no 5 ltr capacity iron bucket for drawing water all complete as per direction of EIC
