| 1 | Hiring of JCB/Excavator cum loader for cutting/widening, mainenance of shoulders, berms of road or removal of slips in all kind of soils and desposing of all excavated earth or unserviceable material from road surface upto any lead, lifts and heights/depths as per direcetion and entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. Any loss of the public/private property or any accident etecetra heppened during the course of hiring period/execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the JCB/Excavator owner which shall have to be fully compensated by the contractor in all cases. The fuel and operational stafffor machinary will be provided by the owner. The repair and spare, watch and ward of machinary also be borne by the contractor/owner. The daily log book will be maintained at site which shoul be duly verified by Engineer-in-Charge. The rates including Royality, Malkhana, Octroi, GST, toll tax, sale tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government. |
| 2 | Making up loss of material/irregularities on shoulders to the design level by adding fresh approved selected soil and compacting it with appropriate equipment at OMC upto a lead of 1000 m as per technical specification Clause 1903 as per the direction and the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate including Royality, Malkhana, Octroi, toll tax, sale tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government. |
| 3 | Construction of unlined surface drains by manual means of average cross-sectional area 0.40 (Zero decimal four zero) square metre in soil to specified lines, grades, levels and dimensions. Excavated material to be used in embankment within all leads, lifts and other incidentals as per Technical Specification Clause 307 and as per the direction and entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.
