The exposed face of the stone shall be machine polished/rubbed to the specified finish, thoroughly cleaned after fixing and treated with an approved silicone-based water-repellent sealer. The item shall also include all lifting, scaffolding, staging, tools and plant, labour, consumables and incidental works necessary for complete installation, all complete as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note: This item is applicable only for stone cladding fixed up to 2.00 metres height from the finished floor/plinth level and the cladding shall be fixed solely with the specified adhesive in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. |

The item shall include all labour, materials, welding electrodes, gas cutting, scaffolding, staging, lifting arrangements, tools and plant, consumables, safety measures and all incidental works necessary for satisfactory completion of the work at all locations up to a height of 5.00 metres above the existing ground level or any accessible roof, floor, platform or balcony level, complete in all respects, as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. |
