2NOTES FOR ALL ITEMS OF BOQ:- (i) Item No 1.00 to 46.00 The rates quoted by the contractor shall include for supply & erecting scaffoldings upto 30m height alongwith necessary fittings & fixtures for execution of the works and after working the scaffolding shall be removed and take away. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.(ii)Cleaning the floor surface area after painting work if contractor fail to cleaning the floor surface a recovery of Rs. 75/- per Sqm of floor area shall be made from his dues.(iii)The work pertaining to Water Proofing shall be executed from authorized applicator of manufacturer of which the materials is proposed to be used by the contractor and approved by Garrison Engineer.
3Material and Labour for preparation of old painted steel and iron surfaces of any description over 10 Cms in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on steel surfaces complete all as specified and directed.
4Material and Labour for preparation of old painted steel and iron surfaces of any description over 10 Cms in width or girth and applying one coat of aluminium paint on steel surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

9Material and Labour for preparation of old concrete surfaces of any description over 10 cms in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on brick, stone, concrete, asbestos cement or plaster surfaces complete all as specified and directed.
10Material and Labour for Writing letters or figures (Roman, Italic or Indian) n exc. 30 cm high complete all as specified and directed.
11Material and Labour for preparation of old white wash plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls including cornices, pillasters etc and applying one coat of white wash on wall complete all as specified.
12Material and Labour preparation of old white washed plastered or unplastered surfaces of ceilings including cornices, pillasters etc and applying one coat of white wash on ceilings complete all as specified and directed.
13Material and Labour complete removal of existing treatment on old distempered surfaces of ceiling and applying two coats of distemper oil emulsion white or tined with application of putty wherever required on surface of ceiling complete all as specified and directed.

19Chipping , removing carefullly concrete work by low impact hammer ,breakar without damaging the structure & cleaning and disposal of debries out side the premises etc. complete as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Hard concrete should not be removed by force.
20Material and Labour for Clean existing reinforcement with wire/ rotary wire brush, making the surfaces free from loose material dirt etc. complete and applying two coats of alkaline rust converting primer FEOVERT of Krishna Conchem or Roff rust cleaner of Piddilite or Dr. Fixit Rust removal or ShaliRust of STP Ltd. on the rebars, including cleaning the reinforcement, wirebrushing to remove loose rust spalls, wash the rebars with clean water within 3 min and wipe it dry.
21Material and Labour for applying two coats of Epoxy based Zinc primer in a span of four hours over the treated rebars and allow to dry for six hours. The application shall be by brush. Epoxy primer for steel of make / brand - Corroseal-ZR of Krishna Conchem or Dr. Fixit Epoxy zinc primer
22Material and Labour for cleaning all loose laitance on the concrete substrate and applying one coat of epoxy bonding agent on exposed concrete surface to ensure bond between old concrete & new concrete by brush application. Make / brand MONOBOND SBR of Krishna Conchem or Dr. Fixit epoxy bonding agent or Shalicrete URP of STP Ltd.
23Material and Labour for Building up the profile of structural members by using latex additives(MONOBOND) modified air cured mortar system (Polymer modified mortar) (1:5:15 = 1 monobond-5Cement-15 sand) -in damaged areas in 25mm to 30 mm thickness including leveling profliling etc complete
24Mild steel bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.Note:-Replacement of steel reinforcement with TMT bars of appropriate size where 30% of cross section is reduced including dismantling of rusted steel complete all as specified and directed.
25Providing and fixing but 5mm dia and over upto and including 10mm dia additional main steel bar or stirrups of designed diameter in various structural elements like column ,beams and foundations including drilling ,bending, welding and fixing the bars with epoxy putty etc. complete (Steel provided on the basis of 1% of volume of concrete). Note:-Replacement of steel reinforcement with TMT bars of appropriate size where 30% of cross section is reduced including dismantling of rusted steel complete all as specified and directed.
26Material and Labour for Providing and applying jacketing around columns with Micro concrete (Molith-MC) M40 including all lifts, shuttering, drilling holes and fixing shear anchor as per specification complete. Note: Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately.(Rates including jacketing, formwork and micro concrete)
27Material and Labour for Drilling and fixing Rohibb Teflon nozzles in RCC members, including drilling holes of 12mm dia, 50 to 100mm deep holes. Works shall be carried out as under :- (i) Cleaning of holes. Clean the holes by air blower prior to fixing nozzles.(ii) Fixing of nozzles. Insert 12mm dia. Rohibb Teflon nozzles in cleaned holes. External end of nozzles to be machine to receive outlet of grouting gun.Fix it inside the holes by applying thixotropic epoxy putty to ensure complete sealing. Cure the system for min.12 hrs. (iii) Cutting of nozzles. Cut the nozzles by chisel after completion of grouting without damaging structural elements.(iv) In case crack upto 2mm wide, fix the injection nozzels directly over the cracks, at intervals of 6 to 9 inches, using a drilling machine. Fix PVC/MS nozzels in these holes with fast-setting epoxy putty & let it dry for 2 to 3 days. Also, seal the crack between the ports with epoxy putty.(v) In case where the crack is wider than 2mm upto 4 to 5mm, drill holes at the sides of the crack in a staggered fashion, at intervals of 6 inches and affix them with epoxy putty as mentioned above. (vi) Also, seal the face of the crack with a liberal application of the epoxy putty.
28Material and Labour for Injecting of site mixed cement slurry grout, mixed in specified proportion containing cement, sand water with addition of plasticizers (approved make) & migratory corrosion inhibitors, water cement ratio shall be varied between 0.5 to 1.0 for each hole, shrinkage compensating cement slurry mixed to a lump free fresh creamy consistency ,Mixing shall be done by mechanical mixer continuously stirring mechanically to keep cement particles in suspension. Injection of approved/specified grout by means of pump at a pressure of 3-5 Kg/cm2 etc complete till the grout mix flows out from the nozzle indicating complete filling of grout in the holes drilled. Make / brand of Epoxy grout - Dr. Fixit Epoxy injection or EPCO KP-HP-250 of M/s Krishna Conchem or Shaligrout EI of STP Ltd.
29Material and Labour for Injecting low viscosity (3-5cps) high molecular weight monomer by pressure and using mechanized injector gun with accessories till nozzles refuses to accept the grout, Including,Mixing of materialas:Mixing of material components(part a&b) in the required quantities as per manufacturer's instruction by weigh batching.Grouting:Fill the grouting gun with concrete penetrating corrosion inhibitor EPCO-KP-100/Protectsil CIT or Ferogard 903. Maintain desired pressure in the gun by air compressor; maintain the pressureat exit(2 to 3kg/cm2) by monitoring pressure guage at exit.Grout the material through prefixed nozzles in the structural elements@ 100ml per nozzle. Repeat the process for all the nozzles.
30Material & Labour for applying Two or more coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over new surfaces in camouflage or plain pattern
31Taking down cement plaster on brick walls or stone walls etc including raking out joint, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc including removing debries directed for a distance max upto 500m complete all as specified.
32Material and Labour for rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick/concrete surfaces with two coats i.e (10 mm thick backing coat in CM (1:4) and 5mm thick finishing coat in CM (1:4)) , finished even and smooth without using extra cement (WPC to be measured and paid separately) complete all as specfified and directed.
33Material and Labour rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces of walls in cement mortar 1:6 finished even and smooth (with out using extra cement). complete all as specified.

35Material and Labour for preparing new plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of oil bound distemper over a coat of acrylic resistant primer on plastered surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

39Material and Labour for injection chemical \\"Glyphosphate\\" (4% Concentration) of 20 ml or till refusal by making cut / injection in the stem of plant of roots at 30 mm and spraying with solution 25 ml \\"Glyphosphate\\" (4% Concentration diluted with 1 ltr of water and removing the plant / vegetation of following girth including penetrated roots complete including necessary scaffolding etc for plants / vegetation of size 0 - 20 cm girth complete all as specified and directed.
40Material and Labour for new or old external wall surface by wire brushing/grinding in order to remove dust, dirt, loose particles, laitance. Thereafter wash the surface with mechanical water nozzal with clean water & allow to dry. Fill visible cracks/ joints by crack seal compound and epoxy base joint filler including resin and hardener in proportion as per maufactures instruction & allow to dry for 24 hours. Apply one coat of water base primer (with mechanically airless paint sprayer machine) and allow to dry for 6 hours appx.Thereafter apply 02 coats of WB high build anti caronatin coating cum waterproofing (with mechanically airless paint sprayer machine) & match with brush at the interval of 08 hours between the coat and allow to dry. Necessary scaffolding for security for the workers for any height, covering etc complete all as per specified and directed. Note:- External water proofing treatment on wall at any height of the building including acrylic paint shall be applied by mechnaically Airless paint sprayer machine only.
41Demolition of stone/brick masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc. but excluding ashlar facings dressed stone work and pre cast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.
42-ditto all as per srl item No.40 above but pre-cast concrete block walling complete all as specified and directed.
