| 30 | NOTE:1) The contractor shall be solely responsible for providing a complete, fully functional network connection for each fire alarm panel using the existing fiber optic network cable providing by DRDL as per BOO Para 3(g). All required integration hardware, including network cards, modules, switches and patch cords, must be supplied and installed within the base bid. The network link must be fully supervised, ensuring any communication failure immediately triggers a trouble alert at the main panel. The contractor must coordinate directly with the security and safety's IT department to verify compatibility and complete all network testing before final acceptance. |
| 31 | 2) The contractor must perform a comprehensive 100% pre-test of all newly installed devices and panels to guarantee complete operational readiness. All audible, visual and cause-and-effect matrix testing must be scheduled outside of normal business hours to prevent any disruption to building operations. Final commissioning must be formally witnessed and approved by both the safety and security representative of DRDL. A complete set of testing logs, system printouts and signed certification documents must be handed over before final project acceptance. |
| 32 | 3) The contractor must seamlessly synchronize the newly installed network systems with the existing fiber optic network cable providing by DRDL as per BOO Para 3(g) across all 42 buildings. All data transmission protocols and time-clocks must be perfectly aligned to ensure instantaneous, unified communication across the entire portfolio. The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary bridging hardware, software integration and configuration to eliminate data lag or communication conflicts. Comprehensive data-integrity and synchronization stress tests must be performed and documented to prove the combined system operates flawlessly as a single network. |
| 33 | 4) Upon completion of the installation, a certified, independent third-party agency must be hired to audit and test the entire system. The contractor must fully cooperate with this agency, providing all necessary equipment, access and technicians to assist during the inspection. Any deficiencies, programming errors or installation defects identified by the third-party inspector must be rectified by the contractor immediately at no extra cost. Final project sign-off and payment release are strictly conditional upon receiving a clean, unconditional approval report from the third-party agency. |
| 34 | 5) The contractor must provide a comprehensive, hands-on training program for the fire safety department on the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the new system. Training materials including user manuals, system operation guides and quick-reference sheets, must be prepared and handed over to all participants. Upon successful completion of teh training, the contractor must obtain formal, signed sign-off sheets from the fire safety department representatives. Final project closeout and payment clearance will not be processed until these signed training logs are submitted to the safety section. |
| 35 | 6) All points outlined in these notes must be fully complied with by the contractor and included strictly within their final quoted rate. Prior to submitting their bids, all bidding agencies are requested to carry out a comprehensive physical site visit across the buildings.
