| 1 | Providing, laying, jointing, welding and fixing 150 mm diameter MS (Mild Steel) Class-C pipe ISI marked (IS 1239) including supply of pipes, cutting and beveling of pipe ends, alignment and welding of joints using electrodes, including Providing and fixing necessary MS fittings such as bends, tees, reducers and flanged joints with rubber insertion gaskets, nuts and bolts complete. The job also includes making suitable supports such as MS clamps, hangers or concrete pedestals as required, applying one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade after surface preparation. The job includes dismantling of old damaged pipeline wherever necessary.The Pipes shall be Seamless and shall comply with relevant standards for mild steel pipes used for water and utility services.The pipes shall be straight, smooth, round and uniform in thickness, free from cracks, laminations, surface defects, rust scale and other manufacturing defects. Pipe ends shall be prepared for welding by proper beveling where flanged joints are required, flanges shall be of matching bore and pressure rating, fixed by full penetration welding. Gaskets shall be rubber insertion or non-asbestos fiber type suitable for the service pressure, and bolts & nuts shall be of standard high-tensile grade.All welding shall be carried out using approved welding electrodes by qualified welders. Weld joints shall be uniform, continuous and free from porosity or undercut.The pipeline shall be laid on supports / hangers / clamps / pedestals. Suitable MS supports / saddles / clamps shall be provided at required intervals to avoid sagging and misalignment. After fabrication, the external surface of the pipe shall be cleaned thoroughly by wire brushing/emery, and one coat of red oxide anti-corrosive primer followed by two coats of synthetic enamel / epoxy protective paint of approved shade shall be applied to the exposed surfaces. The laying of pipeline will be done as per site condition /direction of Engineer-in-Charge.The pipeline shall be flushed and cleaned, and then hydrostatically tested for leakage and strength at a pressure not less than 1.5 times the working pressure for the required duration. Any leakage or defects observed during testing shall be rectified by the contractor at no extra cost. The job also includes dismantling walls or partitions to route overground piping inside the building and connecting with already existing sprinkler and hydrant pipeline inside the building and subsequent reinstatement of masonry, plaster, finishes, and backfilling. The valve body shall be made of Cast Iron with fusion-bonded epoxy coating, and the disc shall be of stainless steel SS304 for corrosion resistance. The spindle/shaft shall be stainless steel SS304 with EPDM/NBR resilient seat ensuring zero leakage under rated pressure. The valve shall be of wafer-type/double-flanged type with bi-directional flow capability, low operating torque and lever/gear-operated mechanism as required. The scope includes cutting and preparing the pipe ends, cleaning, aligning and positioning the valve centrally between the flanges, inserting rubber insertion gaskets, and tightening bolts and nuts in a cross-pattern to ensure uniform pressure and leak-proof joints. | 5 | Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of pressure gauges for the fire-fighting system to be installed in pump room, different floors/landings. The pressure gauges shall be industrial-grade Bourdon tube type with a minimum 150 mm dial size, stainless steel front casing, phosphor-bronze/SS bourdon tube, glycerin or silicone filled for vibration damping, and accuracy not less than ±2% of full scale. Each gauge shall be suitable for a working pressure of up to 16 bar (PN-16) and shall conform to relevant fire-fighting and instrumentation standards. The scope includes provision of gauge cock/isolation valve, extended trail pipe, adapters, reducers, T-fittings, and necessary accessories for connecting the gauge to the existing pipe network without leakage. | 6 | The job includes dismantling the existing yard hydrant-08 nos., Fire Brigade Inlets (FB Inlet) 2 way/4 way points connected to the damaged underground pipe and re-routing it to the newly installed overground fire-water piping. The scope covers careful cutting and removal of the hydrant from the existing line, preparation of the connection points on the new overground pipe, fabrication and installation of suitable flanged or spigot joints with gaskets, nuts, bolts, and washers to ensure leak-proof connections. Proper alignment of the hydrant with the overground pipe shall be ensured using clamps, supports, and pedestals as required for stability. Minor civil works, including construction of pedestals, anchor blocks, or trenches (if required) for proper positioning, shall be carried out. The hydrant shall be pressure-tested to ensure leak-tightness and verified for correct operation. The work also includes reinstatement of surrounding surfaces affected during installation, painting of exposed pipe and supports with anti-corrosive primer and finish coat, and making good of all civil and structural modifications. | 7 | Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning (SITC) of fire pump motor set, comprising a heavy-duty horizontal centrifugal split-case pump 100 m head 2850 LPM Discharge along with matching squirrel-cage induction motor (415 V, 3-phase, 50 Hz, TEFC, IP55, Class-F insulation, IE3 efficiency).The job comprises safe isolation of the existing system, draining of lines, and careful dismantling and removal of the old pump, motor, base frame, coupling, and associated fittings without damage to adjacent installations. Repair and realignment of the existing pump foundation, re-grouting, provision of new vibration pads, and correction of centerline levels shall be carried out to match the dimensional requirements of the new pump set. Necessary modifications in suction and discharge pipelines, including cutting, welding, fabrication of new sections, installation of bends, reducers, flanges, gaskets and supports, shall be undertaken to ensure proper fitment and hydraulic performance as per prescribed norms. Electrical works include disconnection of old wiring, supply and termination of suitable-capacity armoured cable, provision of glands, lugs, earthing, switches, protections and all allied electrical works required to install new pump motor set along with auto operation.The job includes the cost of dismantling of old pump.After installation, the pump and motor shall be aligned precisely and grouted with non-shrink compound. The system shall then be tested for correct flow, head, pressure, vibration, and current draw in accordance with and relevant NBC requirements. The contractor shall hand over the system in fully operational condition along with test reports, warranty certificates, and compliance documentsThe job includes modification of the common fire-water header to integrate a higher-capacity main pump along with the existing lower-capacity sprinkler pump and jockey pump, including new flanged connections, NRVs, PRV on sprinkler line, isolation valves and strengthened supports. Control logic, pressure settings and interlocks shall be revised to prevent over-pressurisation. Work includes cutting/rewelding, testing pressure and full commissioning—complete in all respects. Testing and commissioning includes lubrication, no-load test, load test, discharge pressure measurement, current and voltage verification, checking of safety interlocks, and demonstration of rated flow and head in compliance with fire-fighting norms.
