The diesel engine shall be fully dismantled, cleaned, and inspected; worn-out parts such as cylinder liners, pistons, piston rings, bearings, timing gears, fuel injectors, and gaskets shall be replaced with OEM-approved spares. The radiator, starter motor, alternator, and mounting bushes shall be serviced or replaced as required, followed by reassembly with fresh lubricants and coolant, and testing under load. The pump unit shall be dismantled, cleaned, and inspected; damaged components including impeller, shaft, wear rings, bearings, seals, and gaskets shall be repaired or replaced, and dynamic balancing of the impeller carried out. The pump shall then be reassembled, aligned with the engine, and tested at rated capacity. The control panel, wiring, relays, and batteries shall be checked, defective items replaced, and automatic/manual starting functions tested. All fuel lines, clamps, and flexible hoses shall be inspected and replaced where necessary. The complete assembly shall be cleaned, primed, and painted with suitable heat-resistant and industrial-grade enamel paint. The job also includes complete testing of system after servicing at least 6 hours including the cost of diesel required for the testing. |

The job includes isolation of the electrical supply. The panel will be opened and thoroughly cleaned to remove dust, carbon deposits, and any foreign material. All components, including bus bars, contactors, relays, timers, control transformers, circuit breakers, selector switches, pushbuttons, indication lamps, and meters shall be inspected for signs of overheating, wear, corrosion, or mechanical damage. Loose connections will be tightened, contact points cleaned, and carbon deposits removed.Defective components such as contactors, overload relays, control fuses, pushbuttons, indicating lamps, and meters shall be replaced with equivalent or OEM-approved items.
