| 2 | Discharging the entire quantity of catalyst and honey comb bodies from the first two beds of the converter (2 layers of honey comb bodies of 50 mm below and above each bed). After proper grading by sieving and sorting, it should be kept in 50 Kg polythene bags. Beds shall be discharged in accordance with special condition No. 19. After discharging the catalyst, each bed shall be cleaned thoroughly for inspection purpose. |
| 3 | Recharging the entire quantity of sieved catalyst and honeycomb bodies to the respective beds of the converter (2 layers of honey comb bodies of 50 mm below and above each bed). The internals of the converter including all bell mouths, man hole dummies, pressure drop nipples and roof area, shall be cleaned before charging the catalyst.
