Entire work shall be executed as per scope of work, specification, PNGRB T4S and/or any other specification as per requirement of statutory authorities.

5Installation of Gl sleeves, 2.5\\" NB x 300 mm length pipe sleeve/ half round concrete sleeves for domestic connections, 3\\" NB x 300 mm length Gl sleeve for commercial and industrial installations, excavation, breaking through any obstructions, insertion of pipe, sealing the annulus, fixing of the sleeves/RCC Half Round Guard with concrete mix, preparation of pedestal & restoration of excavated pits within the size of pedestal & the same pit with the laying of 20/32 mm dia MDPE pipe as defined in scope of work, technical specification and instruction of ElC/ SIC.
6Carrying out GIS Data Collection & Entry at every 12 meters, Pipe fittings / Cut Points /Joints/Crossings/Valves/SR etc. (Latitude / Longitude) With attributes as per satisfaction of Owner and / Or as directed by Engineer I/C.Submission of Data in the GIs format of. Shp,. Kml. Accuracy of the collection of assets / Cut points/ Joints to be in accuracy to be maintained 30cm 60cm.Using Hardware Components like GNSS Receiver’s Arrow 100 GNSS Receiver / Spectra Precision Sp20 Receiver / Trimble R2 / Trimble R1 Receiver having Capability to get submeter accuracy 30cm 50cm or better with Indian SBASGAGAN Satellite or RTK in Realtime along with Field replaceable Battery in the device.Software Components Data collection via Mobile application: To digitize the collection of data duringconstruction and provide realtime data in the field.
7Flushing, cleaning, pneumatic testing, purging with nitrogen and commissioning as per scope of work, specification and approved procedures providing all tools and tackles, nitrogen, instruments, manpower and other related accessories and as per instructions of the EIC/ SIC. Maintaining the completed pipelines/ installation for any defect, failures during defect liability period.
8Handing over the completed works to owner for their operation/ use, returning of all surplus material to owner stores, reconciliation of free issue material area wise and obtaining no objection certificate.
9On completion of gas charging of pipelines, preparation and submission of asbuilt drawings, crossings details, termination, utility graphs and deviation statements. Submission of all documents required for contract closure in numbers as mentioned in contract.
10In case more than 1 MDPE pipelines are laid in a common trench, SOR rate of higher dia plus 1/3rd SOR rate of lower dia will be paid.

37Definition – Laterite / Hard Rock Excavation “Removal of laterite or large boulders encountered during excavation exceeding 1.0 m in any direction of the trench, which are removable only by chisel / pneumatic chisel / drill, including backfilling with soft/normal soil after sand bedding and padding, as per the scope of work and project specifications, and after prior intimation/approval of the EIC/SIC.”
38The scope of this item shall include:• Minimum 300 mm sand bedding and padding (150 mm below the pipeline and 150 mm above the pipeline) in hard rock sections• Supply and laying of warning mat above the pipeline• Backfilling of the trench with normal/soft soil, ensuring that no sharp rocks or boulders are used for backfilling• In case of insufficient cover, PCC (1:3:6) of 150 mm thickness shall be provided, which is also covered under this item.

54Submission of applications as per approved drawings provided by owner (Initial route survey, preperation of drawings, measuring and providing details of surface type shall be in scope of contractor with approval from owner), obtaining & submission of demand note, coordination, liaisoning, obtaining written permissions from land owing agencies like municipal corporation, PWD, development authority, NHAI, railways and any other government agencies who maintains the public lands. These rates are not applicable for private lands i.e. apartments/ institutions etc.

57Installation of GI service pipe & fittings
58Survey of designated area and survey drawings of societies / colonies/ localities shall be provided by the contractor. installation of GI fittings like elbows, tees, unions, sockets, reducers, GI plugs,any other GI fittings, adopter for appliance valves & Anaconda, Domestic Adoptor, GI Sleeves, RCC Crimping Guard, Meter clamp & Pipe clamps etc. as required to complete the job including supply of all consumables like Teflon tape, soldering consumables, flux application and all other required material to complete the job. Excluding only Supply of GI pipes of all dia.,GI fittings, Isolation valve, appliance valve,brass adopter Anaconda, Meters,Regulators,Suraksha hose pipe with clamps,GI sleeves, & GI fittings which shall be issued by Owner as FIM.
59Receiving and takingover as defined in the scope of work & specifications, handling, loading, transportation and unloading of owner supplied GI pipes of all dia.,GI fittings, Isolation valve, appliance valve,brass adopter Anaconda, Meters,Regulators,Suraksha hose pipe with clamps,GI sleeves, GI fittings and other free issue items from owner's designated place(s) of issue to contractor's own stockyard(s)/ Work Shop(s)/ worksite(s) including proper storing, stacking, identification, providing security & insurance cover, including installation of GI line (alongwith installation of required accessories as mentioned above) of following sizes, including fabrication, consumables, labour and other incidental works and handing over the same after return of the surplus pipes, fittings, valves & other accessories to the owner's designated store; carrying out all temporary, ancillary, auxiliary works required to make the GI line ready for commissioning as per drawings, specifications, scope of work and other provisions of contract document and instructions of EIC/ SIC, including but not limited to carrying out the following:
60Preparation and approval of schedules, execution procedures, sketches
61Finalization of optimum route with consent of customer, from transition fitting to cooking oven/ appliance. A tentative sketch shall be prepared and shall be signed by customer, contractor & SIC/ TPIA
62Making temporary but stable platforms/ scaffolding / rope ladders and all other safety devices
63Installation of Powder Coated GI Pipes & Fittings, Isolation & Appliance Valves including NPT/BSPT threading, Anaconda, Suraksha Hose etc.. painting as specified including installation of regulators and meters.
64Supply & Fixing of approved clamps, Dowell Plugs with screws, grout material, suitable thread sealant i.e. Teflon Tape/ lock tight, drilling of holes through wall /tiles / wood/ marble/ Granite etc jointing of PE to aboveground service GI pipes, testing, purging and commissioning of the complete installation.
65Touchup/ Painting of entire length of pipe along with fittings after proper surface finish by one coat of approved primer paint and two coats of approved synthetic enamel paint complete as per specification & direction of EIC. Restoring the wall surface to original by cleaning/ touching of corresponding paint to original as per instructions & to satisfaction of the owner. Preparation of laying records, meter reading etc. Reconciliation of free issue material.
66Drilling of holes through walls with proper heavy duty hammer drill Machine, tools & tackles, using proper sealant/ grout material & colours to match original, replacement of damages during drilling, restoring the area to original condition to the satisfaction of Owner/ EIC & as per specification for 1/2\\" & 1\\" NB in brick wall and RCC wall. PVC sleeve with proper sealant to be provided in the drilled section to protect GI pipe.
67All above activities to be carried out as per scope of work, specifications and to the complete satisfaction of consumer & EIC/ SIC.
68Handing over the completed works to owner for their operation/ use, returning of all free issue surplus material to owner stores, reconciliation of free issue material area wise and obtaining \\"no objection certificate\\" from owner/ EIC/ SIC/ TPIA
69Any other activity not mentioned/ covered, explicitly above, but otherwise required for satisfactory completion/ safety/ statutory/ maintenance of works shall also be covered under scope of work and has to be completed by contractor within specified schedule at no extra cost to owner
70Arrangement of all tools, tackles and consumables required to execute the work in an efficient manner.
71In case of independent house with single connection, Riser isolation valve can be considered as lateral isolation valve.

73Installation, testing & commissioning of powder coated GI riser of 1” & ½” from TF to Riser Isolation Valve, from Riser Isolation Valve upto lateral Isolation Valve by providing plug at all levels upto all floors including supply and fixing of all type of pipe supports/ clamps/ brackets.
74Installation of Welded powder coated GI/ MS riser at all length in buidlings above 8 floors and confined spaces like basements by using forged fittings confirming to IS 1239 Part 2, duly polyester powder coated with 70 micron thickness. GI pipe & required fittings shall be first coupled with threaded joint. Teflon/PTFE tape should not be used in threaded joint for welded riser. Alternatively, plain ended pipes and fittings can also be used for welding in welded riser.The entire riser shall be constructed with SOCKET weld only, threaded joints are permitted only on the laterals on account of workability & for future maintenance only. The electrodes (Welding Rods) used for welding on risers shall be of E 6013 grade & 2.5mm thickness of reputed make used for industrial application. The Vendor is required to provide the Batch Test Certificate (TC) for the electrodes. The Weld joint shall be thoroughly cleaned with wire brush and examined visually for its quality. Welding shall be free from defects like porosity, crack, undercut, incomplete fusion etc. Spatter, slag must be removed from pipe.
