| 27 | Note - FOR BOQ Item No 01 to 26: The rates quoted by the bidder shall include the followings:- (i) BOQ item No 1 to 7 and 13 to 17 shall be executed by the contractor through an authorized applicator of any of the manufacturer mentioned under Group X1 in Appendix 'B' of the tender document. (ii) The Contractor shall carryout a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with any one of the manufacturers mentioned under Group X1 in Appendix 'B' of the tender document with respect to Note(i) above. (iii) The contractor shall furnish 5(Five) years perfomance warranty from the manufacturer with whom the MoU has been signed and work executed through their authorised applicator for exterior emulsion paints. Any defect noticed during the warranty period shall be rectified by the authorised applicator to the complete satisfaction of the AGE(I) including materials,labour & T&P required for the same with no cost to the department. (iv)Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles, equipment & machines etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures. (v)Removal of Nails, making good holes, cracks etc and preparation of surfaces. (vi) Work in patches , in narrow widths, bands, cornices, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary and as directed by Engineer -in-Charge. (vii)Spreading and covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings , wirings,switch boards etc to protect them from splashes to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. (viii)) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery , electric fittings , wirings switch boards etc to remove drops and splashes of paint and leave the site clean and tidy to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. (ix) preparation of Sample of patch of 10Sqm for each item of periodical services and approval from the AGE(I) before carrying out further work. (x) All the material to be incorporated in the work shall be brought by contractor to MES store yard at AGE(I) and will be issued by department for incorporation in the work to ensure that the complete quantity is consumed at site.
