Name of Work:- Management of water supply receipt & distribution system, operation of collection well & STP Plant, maintenance of pumps, cleaning & disinfection of water storage tanks and testing of water s les, in colony & technical area at RRCAT Indore .

Note: Any damage to tank cover and float valve with or without ball shall be replaced by the contractor at his own cost.
2Cleaning & disinfecting of R C C overhead storage tanks of capacity 4.50 lakh litre at a height ranging from 15.00 metre to 20.00 metre levels using bleaching powder @ 12 kg each tank including emptying the balance water in the tank below outlet etc , cleaning the tank by applying bleaching powder, brooming, brushing safely without causing damage to waterproofing treatment including rinsing with bleaching powder followed by rinsing thrice with plain water including removing covers carefully prior to cleaning operation and refixing the same including removing the sediments if any etc complete including necessary activities like inspecting the existing M S ladder prior to use, tools & tackles, necessary safety appliances all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge.
3Note: (1) Any damage shall be repaired by the contractor at his own cost. (2) In order to avoid suffocation of workers,contractor must ensure that workers must come out at regular interval to breathe in fresh air.
4Cleaning & disinfecting of R C C underground sumps of capacity 4.50 lakh litre and depth around 3.00 metre using bleaching powder @ 12 kg each tank including emptying the balance water, if any in the tank , cleaning the tank by using bleaching powder, brooming, brushing safely without causing damage to waterproofing treatment including rinsing with bleaching powder followed by rinsing thrice with plain water including removing covers carefully prior to cleaning operation and refixing the same including removing the sediments if any etc complete including necessary activities like inspecting the existing M S ladder prior to use, tools & tackles, necessary safety appliances, masks all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge.

6Cleaning & disinfecting of overhead storage HDPE/RCC tanks of capacity 1000 litre to 9500 litre at all levels using bleaching powder @ 0.50 kg each tank including emptying of tank, cleaning the tank by brooming, brushing and rinsing with bleaching powder followed by rinsing thrice with plain water including removing the covers and float valve with ball carefully prior to cleaning operation and refixing the same etc complete including necessary activities like use of M S ladder,scafold,safety appliances,tools & tackles all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge. Note: Any damage to cover and/or float valve with or without ball shall be replaced by the contractor at his own cost.
7Cleaning & disinfecting of HDPE/ RCC overhead storage tanks of capacity 10000 litre to 100000 litres located on top of roof slab at a height ranging from 5.00 metre to 12.00 metre levels using bleaching powder @ 3.5 kg each tank including emptying the balance water in the tank below outlet etc , cleaning the tank by applying gentle acid, brooming, brushing safely without causing damage to waterproofing treatment including rinsing with bleaching powder followed by rinsing thrice with plain water including removing covers and the float valve with ball carefully prior to cleaning operation replacing of washers, 100 mm dia PVC ball & servicing of float valve and refixing the same and removing the sediments if any etc. complete including necessary activities like inspecting the existing M S ladder prior to use, tools & tackles, necessary safety appliances all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge.
8Note: (1) Any damage to cover or float valve with or without ball shall be replaced by the contractor at his own cost. (2) In order to avoid suffocation of workers,contractor must ensure that workers must come out at regular interval to breathe in fresh air.
9Collecting public drinking water samples or effluent water samples as directed, from scaterred locations in RRCAT, carefully in containers disinfected as per I S 1622-1987 for arranging testing on specified parameters as per IS 3025 part 1 to 60 to ascertain suitability of water for intended use, complete as per following notes and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge.
10Note: (1) The contractor at his own cost need to deploy labourers to operate valves, taps, pump of tube wells Opening & refixing of fittings, if required to collect water samples from descrete locations anywhere in RRCAT premises. shall be carried out by the department only. (2) The contractor at his own cost shall get the water tested from M.P. Pollution Control Board or Laghu Udyog Nigam NABL certified Laboratory to ascertain pH, suspended solids,Total solids, chloride, Lead, Iron, Sulphate, BOD, COD, MPN, Dissolved Oxygen,Turbidity,Total hardness,Calcium Hardness, Magnesium Hardness etc. for drinking water and pH, suspended solids, BOD, COD, MPN, Dissolved Oxygen,Total hardness, Calcium Hardness, Magnesium Hardness etc. for effluent water. Nothing extra shall be paid for submission of test results of additional parameters.(3) The contractor need to bear all expenditures for delivering the samples and later in obtaining test report from from Laboratory including safety kits, tools & tacles, testing charges, cost of container, arranging to & fro transport accompanying departmental representative from RRCAT premises to & from Laboratory to assure authenticity of collected samples and safe handing over of the same in laboratory.
11Providing, fixing & testing of mechanical type integral Water meter of approved make with 100mm/ 150mm inlet & outlet dia including removal of existing water meter and re-fixing new water meter in existing 350mm dia CI water line apprx. 2.00 below the existing ground level including cost of grease, washer gasket, nut bolts as required transportation, accessories , tool and tackles , packing etc. complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer in charge.

14Management of receipt and distribution of Narmada water as well as tube well water in colony as well as technical area and pump operation of collection well & STP plants by deploying ITI qualified (Mech/Plumbing trade) or trained operator with 3 Years experience daily Two operator in every shift i.e. Ist , IInd & Night shift with a e-scooty transportation in close consultation with the engineer of RRCAT or his authorised representative including maintaining the log book, giving daily feed back about the receipt of water, distribution of water either manually or through automation system by handling valves,pumps etc including maintenancae of minor plumbing maintenance work as & when required, making substitute arrangement of operators during leave,weekly offs of operators etc complete as per detailed shift wise job schedule, operating philosphy,
15Note: 1) The payment shall be based on calendar month.2) Each of the operators/supervisor shall be given weekly offs at contractor's cost and as per rules.3)Training for operation, if any, shall be arranged by the contractor at his cost.4) Engineer shall have right to disallow any operator to work without assigning any reason whatsoever.5) Supervisor shall plan his job in such a way that he shall personally be in touch with operators for giving guidance etc for ⅓ of his total duty time in each shift.6) The operator shall follow up with operators of Narmada Control room Bijalpur as frequently as required to receive requisite supply of Narmada water.7) The operator shall note that only Narmada water without mixing tube well water shall be supplied to colony residents and he shall in addition to operation shall maintain the minor plumbing maintenance as needed.8) The contractor's operator need to operate & monitor the sump and Overhead tank in newly extended H- ion lab area also as needed.9) In case non avialability of Supervisor, pump Operator the recovery shall be made @ Double of the minimum wages prevailing at the time of execution of work.
16Cleaning the rain water spouts of all size, shape, length alongwith corresponding Chajjas, gutters at all levels including removing the blockages if any by rodding and testing the same by pouring water etc.complete as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: In case if a chajja does not have spouts, it shall be measured as one no,irrespective of size of chajja, provided cleaning of top of chajja is taken up and free flow of water is demonstrated.
17Note: In case if a chajja/enclosure does not have spouts but only holes, it shall be measured as one no,irrespective of size of chajja/enclosure, provided cleaning of top of chajja is taken up and free flow of water is demonstrated.
18Providing and fixing heavy quality cover with stainless steel plate and pinion for hinge action for fixing in existing HDPE tank up to 1000 Litre capacity at all heights, icluding providing of locking arrangement complete as per drawing, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
19Cleaning of shallow Grit chambers of by manually extracting the grit with effluent using bucket, unloading the extracted grit with effluent in big container and disposing the same in STP Plant located in colony area and cleaning the chamber with fresh water complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
20Complete Rewinding of all three phases winding of four pole induction motor by using suitable super enameld copper wire, class \\"F\\" insulation, Dr. Beck varnish etc. as per standard procedure which includes proper handling, cutting and removing of old copper coils, cleaning of slots, placing of coils as original and thier interconnections, heating and varnishing, replacement of bearings, painting of motor body, testing of motor on no load. Waranty of rebound motor will be minimum Six months. The old winding copper shall be retained by connector and transporation of motor to and fro will be in contracto's scope.

24Servicing, repairing & attending emergency break down of centrifugal pump set with induction motor of various capacities. The makes and models and location are as per enclosed list . The spares etc. are in scope of contractor excluding Motor rewinding. Motor capacity is 20/30/40 H.P. Maintenance to be provided as per annexure in tender schedule for pump and motor.
25Servicing, repairing & attending emergency break down of centrifugal pump set of 02 nos with induction Motor capacity of 5/7.50/10 HP and all accessories like valves NRVs and starter at RRCAT primises, capacities, make model and location as per enclosed list all are included with spares. Motor rewinding is excluded from scope of work. (one pump is standby one is working)
26Removing of submersible pump set and 50/65mm dia GI pipe with motor capacity 7.5/10 HP up to 400 Ft depth, rewinding/servicing of motor , overhauling of pump and replacement of bearings empellor , bushes etc if required, installation of pump in various tube well as per specifications. Rewinding of motor with painting of pump and motor included in the scope.
27Removing of 50/65 mm dia. G.I. pipe with complete fittings etc. from tube well including cost of lift, tools &tacles etc complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

107Providing, laying, jointing, fixing and testing of double flanged distance pieces of total length ranging from 80 mm to 100 mm as per site conditions suitable for fixing in 200 mm nb MS/CI line manufactured by fabrication using Class ‘C’ heavy variety M.S. non galvanized pipes of Preferred make as per I.S. 1239-1979 including providing & welding front & rear flanges having uniformly spaced eight nos 22 nb holes for providing & fixing large nut bolts including turning of old/new pipes as required for proper fixing of butter fly valves or other fitments complete as per the code of practice of water supply in building of IS: 2065-1972, including testing the pipes and fittings for 16 kg/cm2 pressure with a minimum period of 2 hrs. duration, including laying at all levels including cost of all hoisting mechanism, tools & tacles,painting 2 coats with synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer- on all exposed portion of distance piece with double flanges etc complete as per drawing, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
108Painting the steel surfaces like windows, doors, structural steel members with two coats of two component air drying acrylic aliphatic Polyurethane coatings of (Fosroc/BSAF/Asian/ Jenson Nicholson/Berger/ICI) of approved shade including applying one coat of Zinc Phosphate primer and preparing the surfaces by removing loose dust, rust and dirt with stiff brush and washing the surface with clean water, treating surface with anti-fungus chemical wherever required, filling with putty, scaffolding, tools & tackles, safety appliances etc. complete.
