Name of Work:- Repair/maint of HT overhead network, HT underground cables, VCBs, RUMs, GODs and other connected works in New cantt Patiala under GE(N) Patiala
Sl. No. Item Description
1Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for laying of pipes, cable, foundation of electric pole, stays etc and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
2All as per serial item No.01 here-in-before but depth exceeding 1.50 m but not exceeding 3.00 m complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
3Returning,filling in soft loose soil including spreading levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
4Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
5Supply, laying and spreading fine river sand in trenches,ducts etc, 8 cm before laying of cable and 15 cm after laying of cable for cushioning to under ground cable for protection of cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Only punned depth shall be measured for payment purpose
6Material and labour for un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover class HV, type 1, flat, size 300 mm X 180mm x 40mm laid in trenches over cable perpendicular to the direction of cable abutting each other for protection of cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
7Supply and erecting in true verticle position steel tublar swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolt nuts and screws as specified type 410 SP-55 (11.00 metres long) conforming to relevent IS including applying two coats of bituminus paint inside & outside at bottom portion of pole upto 1.5 mtrs length and applying two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer on remaining length of pole and synthetic enamel paint of colour black and red in alternate strips of 30 cm each from PCC coping upto 1.50 m height including demolition of cement concrete in foundation for removing the broken pole from site and making disturbed surface good complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. and directed.Notes:-Excavation and earth work, cement concrete in foundation and coping etc for new pole shall be measured and paid separetaly under respective items of this schedule.
8Supply and fixing Prestressed concrete pole, 11.0 metres long. 152mm x 152mm at top and 152mm x 260mm at bottom, class 9 complying with requirement of relevent IS and painting the pole upto 1.5 m height from top of coping in alternate strip of 30cm each with black and red synthetic enamel paint including demolition of cement concrete in foundation for removing the broken pole from site and making disturbed surface good complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.. Note:- Excavation and earth work, cement concrete in foundation and coping etc for new pole shall be measured and paid separetaly under respective items of this schedule.
9Material and labour for cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
10Material and labour for cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate for coping around the pole strut above ground level, foundation of stay etc. including neccassory form work and finishing the surface fair and even without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
11Material and labour for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded broken stone aggregate as in coping around the poles, strut above ground level, foundation of stay etc. including necessary form work and finishing the concrete surface fair and even without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
12Material and labour for precast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded broken stone aggregate as in covers for cable duct including necessary form work and set in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge..
13Supply,laying, fixing, jointing and testing XLPE Insulated screnned, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor,11000 volts Earthed,grade cross section area 300 Sqmmx3 core, laid in trenches, under floor/roads passing through pipes / ducts / or fixed to walls etc including taking out old unserviceable cable of any size and make complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Excavation and earth work, sand cushnioning, PCC cover shall be measured and paid separetaly under respective items of this schedule.
14All as per item No 13 here-in-before but XLPE Cable of cross sectional area 120Sqmm x 3 core complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
15All as per item No 14 here-in-before but XLPE Cable of cross sectional area 185 Sqmm x 3core complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
16All as per item No 14 here-in-before but XLPE Cable of cross sectional area 95Sqmm x 3 core complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
17Disconnecting, dismantling and taking down old ACSR Conductor / GI earth wire of any size and type from poles of HT over head lines complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge..
18Material and labour for stringing, stretching ACSR conductor Weasel to dog (6/1/2.59 to 6/1/4.72) any size straight horizontal on existing poles including binding with insulators complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.Note:- Contractor will liable to arrange the boards \\"MEN AT WORK\\" near the execution site for fixing ACSR conductor on poles.
19Material and labour for mild steel tube light grade galvanised, 80 mm bore with all fittings and laid in trenches / under roads/ r floors/ fixing along poles and walls with MS clamps made out of 50x 6 mm flat with suitable nuts, bolts & washers complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
20All as per item No 19 here-in-before but mild steel tube light grade galvanised,100 mm bore with all fittings complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
21Material and labour for cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 to 95 sqmm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
22All as per item No 21 here-in-before but of size 120 to 185 Sqmm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
23All as per item No 21 here-in-before but of size 240 to 300 Sqmm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

30Material and labour for Earthing in repair complete with galvanized earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground( earth pit not less than than 2.25 metres below ground level with top edge of earth plate or a depth not less than 1.50 m below ground level) connected to Galvanised earth lead wire 4mm dia by means of galvanized iron bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers complete all as shown in electric plate No 3 of SSR Part- I 2009 and testing complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

32Material and labour for fixing, installation, commissioning and testing of switch Air break, Gang operated with 12 insulators switch Triple pole, mechanicaly operated, mounted on insulator and steel frame, for current rating 200 Amp operating Voltage 11 KV out door, vertical mounted type, complete with locking arrengement, assembly with fuse mount carrier and fuse element of required capacity and isolator suitable for 11 KV including necessary electric connection and 11 KV fuse (drop out type) of capacity as required at site and directed by Engr-in-Charge, with DO fuses assembly and one number operating rod of 25 mm dia bore medium grade GI pipe of suitable length, worked out from ground level and handle complete with lock and two Nos keys including flat iron clamp 50mm x 6mm MS channel of suitable size & length for fixing GOD including nut, bolt, washers complete including taking down existing unservicable set complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
33All as per Srl item No. 32 here-in-before but for current rating 400 Amps all as specified and directed.
34Material and labour for replacement of u/s cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of super enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
35Material and labour for painting the poles upto 1.5 m height from top of coping in alternate strip of 30 cm each with black and red synthetic enamel paint and marking pole No with synthetic enamel paint of colour and size of letters as approved by Engineer-in-charge complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
36Material and labour for preparation of steel or iron surface of cross arm of MS channel,angle section including nut bolts, clamps etc on HT two Pole Structure 11 Mtr long and applying two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
37Material and labour for preparation of steel or iron surface of cross arm of MS channel,angle section including nut bolts, clamps etc on HT Four Pole Structure 11 Mtr long and applying two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
38Material and labour for Servicing and painting of 11 KV GOD by cleaning the contact ,pin insulator with CTC and applying the Petrolium Jelley at the contact point /down rod links for smooth operation including replacing the rusted/ corroded bolts and nuts (using GI Nuts & Bolts) and deffective insulator of GOD,contacts,tinned strip as required at site.preparation of steel or iron surface of cross arm of MS channel,angle section including nut bolts, clamps etc and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and male female contact in red/yellow/blue colour complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.Note:- Unserviceable parts such as contacts, insulators, copper tinned strip etc shall be measured and paid separately as supply only under respective item(s) of this schedule.
39Supply only Male/ Moving contact for GOD switchcomplete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
40Supply only Female/ Fixed Contact for GOD switch complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
41Supply only Copper Tinned Strip for GOD switch complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
42Supply and fixing in repair Loop type isulator, vitreous porcelain, white, brown or green large size with overall dimension 90 x 140 mm clearance of hold 25.5mm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
43Supplying and fixing HT disc type porcelain vitreous white, brown or green insulator, size 145mm high and 255mm dia, ball and socket type with tension clamp for conductor, for working pressure 11000 volts complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
44Supplying and fixing in repair pin type isulator, vitreous porcelain, white, brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised nut, 150 mm dia for 11000 volts grade complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
45Material and labour for construct a single-brick protective boundry of size 3.5x3.5x0.203 mtr around the 4 pole structure and fill the enclosed area with 20 mm aggregate including one coat of white wash on bricks complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
