| 2 | Complete maintenance of the entire INTENSIVE garden features having as per yard stick in the garden area i.e. lawn trees, shrubs, herbs, edge, flower beds, foliage, creepers etc. including hoeing, weeding, pruning, replacement of plants, gap filling, watering, mowing of lawn, grass cutting by lawn mower and brush cutter, sweeping of lawns, picking of dry leaves, papers, plastic bottles, remove litter, removal of garden waste, applying insecticide, pesticide &fertilizers (whenever required) top dressing of lawn with good earth and manure and maintenance of other garden related works as directed by office-in-charge (Cost of Good Earth, Manure, Fertilizer, Insecticide, Pesticide will be provided by the1 Department & lawnmower and brush cutter with fuel and other T & P material/articles shall be provided by the contractor.) and as per direction of officer in charge. (Total Area of the Garden = 3203.81 Sqm X 08 Months = 25630.48 Sqm. ) |
| 3 | Preparation of beds for hedging and shrubbery by excavating 60 cm deep and trenching the excavated base to a further depth of 30 cm, refilling the excavated earth after breaking clods and mixing with sludge or manure in the ratio of 8:1 (8 parts of stacked volume of earth after reduction by 20% : one part of stacked volume of sludge or manure after reduction by 8%) flooding with water, filling with earth if necessary, watering and finally fine dressing, levelling etc. including stacking and disposal of, materials declared unserviceable and surplus earth by spreading and levelling as directed, within a lead of 50 m, lift up to 1.5 m complete ( Cost of sludge, manure or extra earth to be paid for separately). |
