| 1 | Material & Labour for repair to pot holes any depth not exceeding 1.0 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water scoring sunken surfaces in road path etc cutting around edges, at least 25mm in depth and making good by applying tack coat using bituminous primer VG-10 @ 5Kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premix as specified for thin bituminous carpet (2cm thick) well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat (6.8 Kg of binder with 0.06 cum of sand), again well rammed ( including supply of premix binder and sand) depth of potholes not exceeding 30mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Pot holes shall be marked by Engineer-in-charge before commencement of work and same shall be entered in MB after making good and before laying of bituminous premix carpet.(ii) GE will inform Accepting Officer for convening a Board of Officers at least seven days prior to execution of this item. |
| 2 | Material and labour for preparing black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc from black top surface with and including applying evenly a premix /tack coat with bitumen grade VG-10 @ 5Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.Note : This item shall be used only where BM is in patches and to be covered by top layer after 48 hours. |

| 4 | Material and labour for premixed bituminous macadam laid/rolled with power roller 8 to 12 tone roller and compacted to required gradient & camber (consolidated thickness 50mm) and binder 4% (Viscocity grade Bitumen VG-30) by weight of total mix complete all as specified laid over priming /Tack coat. Note:- Preparing of surfaces and and primig coat will be measured and paid for separately under subsequent item. |
| 5 | Providing and laying Premix Bituminous semi dense asphaltic Concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder (paving bitumen of grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix and crushed aggregates of grading 2 with mixing of agrgregates and VG-30 bitumen in electronic operated 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from the plant to work site by tippers and laying with mechanical paver finisher and as per approved mix and rolled & compacted to required camber and gradient with vibromatic roller, complete all as per Clause 507 MORTH (5th Rev) specification and as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Notes :(i) The contractor shall quotes the rate against this Item considering 5.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Job Mix Formula as per CIause. No. 505.3.3 of MORTH (5th Rev) for BC shall be worked out from Zonal laboratory/ Govt Engineering Colleges/ IIT/NIT/CTL or any E-in-C/ MES approved lab for obtaining Optimum Binder Content (OBC) by the Contractor without any financial effect to the Dept and same be submitted to the GE for approval. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted @ Rs 52/kg of binder and no adjustment shall be made on plus side.(ii) Cost of filler i.e. cement (Ordinary portland cement/OPC) is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate.(iii) After spreading of mix as per clause 507.4.7 entire surface during the operation shall be rolled with road roller 8-10 tonne (smooth wheeled) followed with vibratory road roller of 8-10 tonne static weight, followed by finished rolling with 6 to 8 tonne smooth wheel tendom roller as per Clause Nos. 507.4.8 and cost of the same is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate. |
| 6 | Material and labour for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre line, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc and the like n.exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine including cleaning and drying the surface all as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge. |
| 7 | Material & Labor for Painting Lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on roads, pavements with adequate no of coats and the like exc 10cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge. |
| 8 | Supply and fixing in repairs cat eye reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. |
| 9 | Supply and fixing in repairs solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargebale battry (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED light with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd including taking down old u/s cat eyes completed as per manufacturers instructions all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge. |
