The treatment flow sheet comprises of Inlet chamber, Raw water tank,cascade aerator, flash mixer,PST/Tube Settler, flow measurement device , Calriflocculator , RSF, Clear water tank and back Wash tank. For coagulent addition proper alum, lime solution tank with proper mechanical mixing and dozing arrangement to be provided as per data sheet.Gaseous Chlorinator is provided for disinfection. Plant building having laboratory, chemical house, attendent room, toilets etc,supply of laboratory equipment,piping,valves mechanical/ electrical equipment electric wiring & panel boards,sanitation, inter connecting paths, site development upto a minimum of 3m from edge of battery limit of plant, retaining and breast walls and fencing including SCADA based complete automation of the WTP displaying water quality parameters such as PH, Turbidity ,TDS and alum/lime dosing as per CPHEEO standards. The firm shall submit the detailed hydraulic and structural design and drawings( 6 copies) for each component of treatment plant which shall be approved by the department before the work is started. The design/drawingsof the mechnical/ electrical equipment & wiring etc. along with manufacturers specification/design also be submitted for approval by the department. On the completion of scheme in all respect the contractor shall test run the plant alongwith the scheme for six months before handing over the same to the department at the cost of the contractor.However,electrical charges shall be borne by the department. During this period the contractor shall run the plant at full rated capacity and produce the resuslts specified as per CPHEEO/ relevant I.S. standards in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge or his resentaive. During this period the daily testing of raw water and treated water samples shall be done. Complete record of the test results and the flow measurements shall be kept during this period. If the performance of various units of the treatment plant is as specified in CPHEEO manual, then the plant shall be formally taken over by the department,otherwise the contractor shall make necessary change / repairs to improve the efficiency of the unit/plant.During trial run period of six months after completion of scheme, the firm shall train the department persons in operating, maintaining the plant.The WTP should be fully automated ( SCADA based) from Raw Water Tank/ Intake to Clear Water Tank. |
