The contractor shall arrange To & Fro transportation, packaging & forwarding, loading & unloading of the motor from the Plant to the Vendor’s Workshop and return back to the Plant after completion of repair activities at his cost.The broad work scope of repairing of 300 KW DC Motor shall include, but is not limited to, the followings:1. Rewinding Work of Stator & Armature2. Insulation Work: Replacement of inter-turn glass fiber separators of interpole coils. Complete re-insulation of coils.3. Rewinding & Insulation Treatment: Impregnation of coils with Class-F insulation. Application of insulating enamel (varnish – red coat Becktol) for stator winding.4. Reassembly of Interpoles & Core Work: Refitting of all 4 Nos. interpoles after cleaning. Removal of wedges from stator core body. Formation and preparation of compensatory coil windings.5. Laying of New Windings: Insulating and laying of new compensatory coils in stator slots; Refitting of wedges after proper placement of windings in core slots.6. Fixing & Binding: Fixing of stator copper windings using resin and hardener.7. Electrical Connections: Brazing of connections for stator and armature winding coils after completion of rewinding.8.
