Name of Work:- REPAIR AND CLEANING OF SEWAGE LINE, SEPTIC TANK, MANHOLES ETC AND OTHER CONNECTED B/R WORKS AT SHARIFABAD MIL STN UNDER AGE (I) CIF (K)

1Taking out liquid/ solid content/ soil/ garbage from sump/ septic tank and sewage line either manually, by pumping or by machine or cleaning throughly including disposal of liquid/ solid/ soil/ garbage content out of the cantonment area and covering with layer of earth complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge (Note:- Bamboos/cleaning rods will be used for prodding/desludging purpose strictly or by machine transport i.e. sewer cleaning suction machine if necessary or pumping through machine if necessary)
2Bailing out water directly from septic tank/ soakage well of any size and depth with suitable capacity pumps to the nearest open drain or low lying area in such a manner so as to preclude the possibility of movement of water through any structure and not to cause inconvenience/ nuisance in the area nearby, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
3Removing of manhole/drain cover for cleaning of sewage lines/ drain pipes 100mm bore laid to any slope or gradient, depth upto 3.00 mtrs including manholes with manual or mechanical method, removing the sludge outside the cantonment area and depositing the sludge in a pit (including digging of pit) and covering the sludge with layer of 25mm thick layer of earth and spreading unslaked lime on the pit, refixing the manhole cover in its original position, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge
4Removing of manhole/drain cover for cleaning of sewage lines/drain pipes 150mm bore laid to any slope or gradient, depth upto 3.00 mtrs including man holes with manual or mechanical method, removing the sludge outside the cantonment area and depositing the sludge in a pit (including digging of pit) and covering the sludge with layer of 25mm thick layer of earth and spreading unslaked lime on the pit, refixing the manhole cover in its original position , complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
5Removing of manhole/drain cover for cleaning of sewage lines/drain pipes 200mm bore laid to any slope or gradient, depth upto 3.00 mtrs including man holes with manual or mechanical method, removing the sludge outside the cantonment area and depositing the sludge in a pit (including digging of pit) and covering the sludge with layer of 25mm thick layer of earth and spreading unslaked lime on the pit,refixing the manhole cover in its original position, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
6Cleaning of blocked WC including and upto first manhole manually and well flushing with clear water, making the seat functional including deposting the sludge in a pit (including digging of pit) not less than 100 meter away from site of cleaning and covering the deposited sludge with minimum 25cm thick layer of earth and spreading unslaked lime on the pit, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
7Cleaning of blocked nahani/gully traps by removing mud/sludge manually ,washing thoroughly gratings of the trap, CI waste pipes by opening the inspection eyes manually and well flushing with clear water, including deposting the sludge in a pit (including digging of pit) not less than 100 meter away from site of cleaning and covering the deposited sludge with minimum 25cm thick layer of earth and spreading unslaked lime on the pit, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
8Notes for Srl item Nos. 01 to 07 : Rates against these items includes for :(i) Cleaning and clearing/disposing off all the sludge/ sewage contaminated water in solid / semi solid / liquid state from sewage lines, manholes, septic tanks etc as detailed in items shall be maintained for blockage free and smooth functioning of all the sewage lines and related sewage items as detailed in items for a period of 330 (Three Hundred Thirty) days i.e., the date of completion of contract given in work order No-1. (ii) The complaints shall be collected from the office of Engineer-in-charge at 9.00 AM by contractor/Contractor's representative and shall be got signed from the user occupant after clearing the complaints. These complaint slips will also be got signed at Engineer-in-charge office after the satisfactory completion of each complaint. No complaint shall be kept pending/unattented for a period of 48 hours. Any damage to manhole covers, gully trap covers, CI access doors of CI pipes any dia, PVC pipes/fitting, 'P' traps, floor traps during the process of cleaning/clearing shall be made good by the contractor by replacing same with new without any extra cost to the Govt.(iii) If contractor fails to complete the complaint within stipulated period i.e 48 Hrs, a recovery of Rs 200 per complaint per day shall be levied.(iv) Length of pipeline shall be measured from centre to centre of manhole.
9Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for foundation etc., or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes etc., not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and n. exc. 1.5 metre in depth and getting out, in hard/dense soil, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
10Demolition and breaking up of drain pipes 150mm bore (Salt glazed ware/AC pipe/reinforced concrete pipe/PVC pipe ) set in cement mortar including concrete bed & haunching (if required) and removing away complete from site, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
11Demolition and breaking up of drain pipes 200mm bore (Salt glazed ware/AC pipe/reinforced concrete pipe/PVC pipe ) set in cement mortar including concrete bed & haunching (if required) and removing away complete from site, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
12M&L for 150 mm bore reinforcement concrete pipe, Class NP2, laid in trenches and jointed in CM 1:1 and tested on concrete bed or directly on hard grounds, jointing and testing, complete, all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- Charge. Note:- Excavation, earth work and concrete bed shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of this BOQ.
13M&L for 200 mm bore reinforcement concrete pipe, Class NP2, laid in trenches and jointed in CM 1:1 and tested on concrete bed or directly on hard grounds, jointing and testing, complete, all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- Charge. Note:- Excavation, earth work and concrete bed shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of this BOQ.
14M&L for Plain Cement Concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in bed to drain pipes 150mm bore, laid to falls including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested including necessary shuttering and support, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
15M&L for Plain Cement Concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in bed to drain pipes 200mm bore, laid to falls including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested including necessary shuttering and support, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
16Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains, making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 smooth finished, and reforming benching as requiredcomplete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
17Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc., but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles including removing of rubish, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
18M&L for Brick work with sub class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
19Taking down cement plaster, of any description on brick or stone or cement concrete walls/ceiling including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
20Rendering 15 mm thick, on fair faces of brick or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 and surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
21Demolition of cement concrete ( un-reinforced) in ground floors and paving not exceeding 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) including removal of broken material from site, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
22Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description in any position not otherwise specifically provided for (Reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition), including removal of broken material from site, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
23M&L for providing reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-1 ( using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in Slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, deck slabs and in shelves and the like, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
24Formwork for rough finished surfaces to edges of concrete flats, treads, breaks in floors, window cills, concrete railings, openings in concrete walls, floor and roofs n exc 20 cm wide and sides of RCC/PCC bands in walls, horizontal or sloping and similar work exc 10cm but n exc 20cm wide, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
25Formwork for rough finished surfaces to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landings and similar work; not exceeding 200mm thick (Horizontal or sloping), complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
26Providing precast reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1, using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate, as in landings, cover slabs (for manholes etc.) chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces set in cement mortar 1:4 including necessary formwork, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note:- Reinforcement shall me measured and paid for separately.
27M&L for Plain cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-1, using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in channels/benching of manholes, drains, laid to shape and slope and surfaces finished even and smooth using extra cement, complete all as specified and asdirected by Engineer-in-Charge.
28M&L for TMT steel bars 8mm dia and over in reinforcement, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally or hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including Mild Steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
29M&L for Plain cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-1 ( using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in copings, weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating including necessary formwork, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
30Dismantling of 100/75mm dia cast iron or reinforced concrete drain pipes, jointed in cement mortar and taking out of trenches, if required, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
31S&F PVC (SWR) pipes, 110mm dia, single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, laid in floors or trenches, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
32S&F PVC (SWR) bends/shoes any radius having bore 110mm , fixed in repairs, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
33Dismantling floor hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
34M&L for Plain cement concrete, 1:2:4, type B-0 using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate, 25mm thick, as in levelling course of flooring, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
35M&L for Plain cement concrete 1:4:8, type D-2, using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate, as in foundation filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and asdirected by Engineer-in-Charge.
36M&L for Chequered cement concrete coloured tiles of size 20 cm x 20 cm x 25mm/ 30 cm x 30 cm x 25mm thick set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors,with grey cement and pigment, laid over and including 15mm thick screed bed or bedding layer in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
37Returning, filling in, including spreading , leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick in any type of soil, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
38Removing surplus excavated material (soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
39Note :- An amount of Rs. Rs 9,250.00 on account of credit schdule for Sch 'A' Part-II Shall be deducted from the total amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum. Please Enable Macros to View BoQ information
