16Surveying and levelling for the proposed alignment of pipe line by Total station method by engaging qualified Engineers with minimum qualification of B. E./B. Tech (Civil), Technical Assistant Grade - I & II, Mazdoor category - I, using the contractor-owned survey instruments, Special tools and plants vehicle hire charges, transportation, initial incidental charges such as jungle clearance etc. Preparation of Tree map and alignment plan, duly incorporating salient details, such as topographical features, permanent landmarks, bench marks etc. at appropriate points, alignment plans and longitudinal section plan at 30 m intervals in addition to other salient locations such as branches, bends, culverts, river crossing etc. with all field particulars in AutoCAD and submission of plan (in 3 sets), along with LF books with making all entries with certification by above qualified Engineers with soft copy and marking TBM stones at required places with bench mark registers soft copies (in 3 sets) and hard copies (in 5 sets) etc., complete as directed by the Engineer
17DISMANTLING
18Dismantling of flexible pavements and disposal of dismantled materials up to a lead of 1000 metres, stacking serviceable and unserviceable materials separatelyBy Mechanical Means (including cutting at the edges of road surfaces to be dismantled). Breaking by excavator at the edges of road surfaces to be dismantled shall not be permitted.Bituminous Road (inclusive of Black Top surface layer, Water Bound Macadam (WBM) layer & Soling layer).
19Dismantling of Cement Concrete Pavement: Dismantling of cement concrete pavement by mechanical means (including cutting at the edges of road surfaces to be dismantled) using pneumatic tools, breaking to pieces not exceeding 0.02 cum in volume and stock piling at designated locations and disposal of dismantled materials up to a lead of 1000 metres, stacking serviceable and unserviceable materials separately. Breaking by excavator at the edges of road surfaces to be dismantled shall not be permitted.
20Taking out existing CC interlocking paver blocks from footpath/ central verge, including removal of rubbish etc., disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground, for which payment shall be made separately and stacking of serviceable material within 50 metre lead as per direction of Engineer
21EARTH WORK (SEWER)
22Excavation below road top/ GL (GL to be reckoned as Existing Ground Level, hereafter) by manual or mechanical means for laying of sewers, manholes, Chambers, sumps etc. in soil including extra excavation below inverts, trimming and dressing of sides, levelling and back filling of trenches by excavated earth in 20 cm layers, watering and ramming, compacting the same conforming to MoRTH, including removal of surplus earth or other dismantled material up to a distance of 50 meters from the centre of trenches and lifts as below, stacking and spreading as directed, preparing the bed for laying of pipe/foundation, cleaning of site properly after completion of work etc. complete. Excavation by mechanical means shall be restricted up to 90 cm beyond invert levels at every point of excavation. Excavation from invert level to 90 cm beyond shall be done by manual means only.

43Provide & fixing of Open Timbering (covering 1/3rd of surface area by planks), in trenches for the following depths below ground level consisting of 40 mm thick approved country wood planks for poling board, 125 mm × 75 mm Indian country wood walers and 100 mm dia wooden ballies for struts at 1.50 m c/c interval including removal after laying of sewer both sides of trenches will be taken as one side for the purpose of payments & measurements i.e. area equals to length x depth of trenches. 58Providing and laying Ductile iron pipes of class K-7 S&S conforming to IS 8329:2000 with latest amendments, conveying to work site, rolling and lowering into trenches, laying true to line, level and perfect linking at joints, dewatering if required, testing (Water Tightness test, Straightness and Obstruction test etc. as per Specification) and commissioning, including loading and unloading at all destinations, cutting of pipes wherever necessary and approved EPDM quality rubber gaskets, cleaning the socket and spigot end with soap solution, applying soft soap to the socket and spigot ends before insertion of rubber gaskets, jacking and fixing in perfect conditions etc complete. 74Supply and Pushing of MS casing pipe with Protective coating/ lining of specified thickness by trenchless method adopting any suitable technology below ground at required depth under running traffic condition as per railway/N.H.A.I standard including carrying out survey work at the job site for determining underground cable trenches like telephone, cable, water & sanitary lines and resistivity test for finding the soil strata using necessary equipments for completion of works, mobilizing of machineries and specialized crew at the job site complete in all respect, including excavation of driven pit and exit pit (upto 3 metre depth) with proper protection at three sites with shoring sheets and ISMB's. Providing MS cutting edges for front shield and Constructing thrust bed at designated level. 75Providing, jointing, laying, testing and commissioning of HDPE PE-100/PN-6 (suitable for pulling method for jointing) pipes for sewer line as per IS-14333 (amended upto date) with compliance for maintaining slope as per design by trenchless adopting HDD method (Horizontal Directional Drilling) below ground at all depth including carriage etc. complete in all respect, construction of thrust pit and receiving pit of required size upto 3 metre depth and soil investigation, making suitable arrangement for barricading of pits, traffic diversion, lights, traffic permission from relevant authority (though department will assist in getting the permission), refilling of pits in compacted layers of 150 mm including disposal of surplus material with all lift and lead upto 50 metre as per specification and the direction of the Engineer. Note-1 Length of pipe shall be measured in between the outer wall of two manholes / Inspection chambers, Pipe in the manhole/inspection chamber’s wall shall deemed to be included in the item of manhole/inspection chamber shall not be payable. 78BARRICADING
79Providing and erecting 2.00 m high temporary barricading at site; each panel of size 2.50 m x 2.00 m made of 40 mm x 40 mm x 6 mm angle iron or 50 mm x 50 mm x 3 mm hollow MS tube posts/ horizontal members/ bracings covered with 1.63 mm thick MS sheet. The sheet shall be fixed with 30 mm x 5 mm MS flat by suitable welding/ riveting. The panels shall be made so that gap of 50 cm above the ground is available making overall height as 2.5 m. MS channel ISLC 75 @ 5.70 kg/m, 50 cm long shall be provided at the bottom having oval shaped holes of size 50 mm x 25 mm at both ends with 50 cm long MS angle 40 mm x 40 mm x 6 mm bracing. Suitable arrangement shall be made to fix the barricading to avoid from overturning by providing 250 mm long expansion fasteners at both ends. The work shall be executed with prior permission as per drawing/ direction of the Engineer which includes writing and painting, arrangement for traffic diversion such as traffic signals during construction at site for day and night, glow lamps, reflective signs, marking, flags, caution tape as directed by the Engineer. The barricading provided shall be retained in position at site continuously i.e. shifting of barricading from one location to another location as many times as required during the execution of the entire work till its completion. Rate include its maintenance for damages, painting, all incidentals, labour materials, equipment and works required to execute the job. The barricading shall not be removed without prior approval of the Engineer. (Note :- One time payment shall be made for providing barricading from start of work till completion of work i.e. shifting. The barricading provided shall remain to be the property of the contractor on completion of the work).
80Supply of all material, labour and T&P to provide, erect, dismantle and shifting of temporary barricading for particular work sites along trench during excavation and laying of pipe with Eucalyptus ballies of 100 mm dia in horizontal section in two rows and vertical post of 125 mm dia at 2 m C/C fastened with coconut/ Nariyal rope including provision of caution board. Unless approved or determined otherwise by the Engineer: Such temporary barricading shall be provided on both sides of open trenches. The unit rate shall refer to double-sided barricading of open trenches which shall be measured as per running metre (rmt) of open trench, whereas any single-sided barricading of open trenches shall be measured as per one-half of running metre (rmt) of open trench. The unit rate shall cover all costs for providing and erecting of temporary barricading from start of work at each particular work site until completion of work at each particular work site, as well as all costs to dismantle and shift the barricading to another particular work site. The barricading provided shall remain the property of the Contractor on completion of the work.

83Construction of approved type pre-cast RCC manhole chambers, constructed using form vibrators of standard type, with barricading, danger lighting and using of sight rails and boning rods wherever necessary, dewatering if required, shoring and strutting wherever required using RCC M30 Grade of Concrete, Conforming to IS 456:2000 , with 20 mm and down graded stone chips, well graded sand and reinforcement shall be Fe500 conforming to IS 1786:2008, 175 mm thick top concrete slab, having wall thickness and raft thickness as in approved drawings and with an offset in raft all around the chamber as in approved drawing, benching concrete (1:2:4) with 1:12 slope towards the central drain finished smooth, including fixing and grouting of pipes, including conveying to work spot supply and fixing EHD-35 Precast Concrete Manhole Cover & Frame, on a bed of PCC 1:2:4 supplying and fixing of minimum 6 mm thick encapsulated plastic footsteps (as per IS 10910) on 12 mm dia. Grade Fe500 steel bar (as per IS 1786) staggered at 300 mm apart as detailed,applying two coats of cold applied coal tar epoxy. paint of approved quality 100 micron dry film thickness each coat to embedded parts / Concrete Surface, including demolishing/cutting of road, earth work in all kind of soil ,back filling ,dressing,disposal of surplus earth/dismantled materials within 5 km, watering, curing,engraving manhole number with flow direction on the inner cylindrical surface etc.,leakage Testing of Manhole etc. complete including cost of reinforcement steel and fabrication charges and also cost and conveyance of all materials, labour with all lead and lifts.
