Due To Letting Of Water In Canal, There Will Be Deposition Of Silt And Debries In The Canal Which Is Obstructing The Flow Of Water In The Canal. The Rain Water Falling On Side Slopes, And Sum Raeches Heavy Silt Is Diposited Due To Maintenance Work Is Not Taken For The Year 2025-26. Canal Will Also Carry Soil Particles And Cause Deposition Of Silt In The Bed Of Canal. The Silt Is Deposited Throughout In The Bed Of Main Canal From Ch 30.000 To 46.00 Km But We Taken Sum Selected Reaches To Removing Of Silt For Smooth Flow Of Water Of Mli West Canal. It Is Necessary To Remove The Silt During Every Closure Period Of Canal Letting Water In Canal For Next Khariff For The Year 2026-27. Jungle Is Also Grown Along The Sr, Ip And Side Slopes Of Canal But We Are Conciderd Only For Sr Side Which Is To Be Cleared.It Is Necessarry To Execute The Above Works During Every Closure Period.Hence The Estimate Is Prepared For Removal Of Silt And Jungle Of Main Canal From Km 30.00 To 46.00 Km Of Mli West Canal. And The Estimate Is Prepared As Approved Programme For The Year Of 2026 - 27 And Sl No Of Work Si 131.
