| 1 | Preparing surface of old black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing cracked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with and including bituminous primer (paving biumen ) at the rate of 5 kg per 10 square meter of road surface and providing and M&L for bituminous premixed semi donse asphalted concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness using paving bitumen of grade [email protected]% binder coment by weight of total mix spread by means of self propelled mechanical spread/ pavers rolled and campacted to required camber and gradiant by using mechanical power road roller 8 to 10 ton capacity complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in charge |
| 2 | Repair to pot holes of any depth n exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, water scoring sunken surfaces in roads,paths cutting aroung edges to at least 25mm in depth,making good by filling in screened and graded road metal watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) but making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premix as specified for thin bituminous carpet (2 cm thick) well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat (6.8 kg of binder with 0.06 cu m of sand), again well rammed (including supply of premix binder and sand) depth of potholes n exc 30 mm complete all as specified and directed. |
