| 3 | Removing of old unsv plywood top from existing charpoy GI pipe shall be re-assembling/ tightening of charpoy frame and providing 12 mm thick plywood top BWP Grade (Make: Gold from Greenply/Gold from Archidply/ Club Prime from Century Ply) as per existing shape and size with shunken nut/bolts ,appropriate hole shall be made with elecrtic drill machine complete AND 12mm x 6mm thick teak wood beading half round along with the edges duly smoothened of the plywood and rounded at corner fixed with fevicol and headless nails all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. |

Scrapping/ Grinding will be carried out for renewal of existing dust, dirt, faded polish etc strictly as directed by GE/EIC, M&L for melamine polish high gloss/mate finish with spray machine applying shellac, wood filler, shelar etc after removing of existing polish making surfae smooth by sanding and grinding with standard workmanship as directed by EIC to the following furniture articles of MES pattern viz F/DB/FD/MAP series/TP or Similar items incl applying wax for depressed surface as well as washing with caustic soda wherever required before polishing all as specified and all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Shade of polishing/pinting will be directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge. |

| 51 | Notes for BoQ:-(a) The furniture article as and when received from Unit/Occupant as case may be, the Engineer-in-Charge (BSO) shall enter these furniture articles in furniture deposit register (IAFW-1830) and shall subsequently issue for necessary repair/polishing to the Contractor through Nominal issue voucher(NIV) mentioning the date of issue duly signed by the contractor. In certain cases the repairable furniture article can also be issued directly from units. (b) The contractor shall return these furniture articles after repair work on or before 30 days from the date of issue of furniture and nominal Receipt Vouchers (NRV) shall be issued duly signed by furniture I/C, BSO and Contractor. (c) If the contractor fails to repair and return these furniture article within 30 days, a penalty of Rs 10 per furniture article per day will be levied to contractor and the same will be recovered from contractors claims. (d) Generally the periodicity for issue of furniture from BSO Yard shall be once or twice in a month (reckoning from date of commencement of work as per WO No.1) subjected to the users requirement/availability of furniture for repair works. However care shall be taken that repairable furniture shall be issued not more than 20% of total qty of CA provision in one month. |

(h) Replaced/ Changed parts should be First finished seperately upto the level /extent so that the Painting /Polishing on whole Items should be matched and desired finish shall be obtained.
