Supply Of ferritic steel sheet 10x1250x3000mm , ferritic steel sheet 10x1250x3000mm., as per drawing: rdso spec. no. c-k201, g rade x2crni12 (409m), heat treatment condition 2d as per table-5., packing instruction: stai nless steel sheets, coils and plates:- (a) stainless steel (austenitic & ferritic steel) coil s. the coil shall be protected in reasonably good condition to withstand normal hand ling hazard during transit with the following provision as the barest minimum: i) coil should be wrapped with a layer of water proof paper through out whole length. ii) coi l should be wrapped with a layer of biodegradeable sheet. iii) outer & inner of coil sho uld be wrapped with gi sheet. iv) side of the coil should be covered with card board sh eet. v) after this whole coil should be wrapped with biodegradeable plastic sheet of s uitable thickness. vi) the inner edge of the coil should be protected by gi ring followe d by another iron ring. vii) outer edge of the coil should be wrapped with gi ring. viii) c oil should be securely strapped with minium 5 steel bands through the eyes of the coil and minium 3 steel bands on the circumference of the eye. ix) whole coil should be mou nted on wooden blocks for easy lifting/stacking. x) the sheets in coil form for thickne ss 2mm and above shall have: inner dia of coil 450-800mm outer dia of coil 1000-1300mm weight of coil 2.4 - 10 tonnes xi) the sheets in coil form for thickness below 2mm shall have: inner dia of coil 450-650mm outer dia of coil 1000-1300mm weight of coil 5.0 - 10 to nnes. (b) stainless steel (austenitic & ferritic steel plates/sheets) i) the sheets/plates s hall be supplied in bundles of optimum weight: 2mt+/-10% & each sheet/plate shall be se prated with a layer of water proof paper, after this the whole bundle should be wrapp ed with double layer of water proof paper and a biodegradeable plastic sheet of suita ble thickness. a metal protection in edges should also be provided. ii) all bundles shal l have a minimum of 2 hoops upto 1.2 meter in length and one extra hoop for every addi tional meter. the bundles shall also be provided with skid (wooden packing under neat h) to facilitate handling. mechanical damange & corrosion during transit if any shall b e at the cost of supplier.
