The Visual Inspection Shall Largely Cover Areas Of High Distress, Abnormal Variations In Structure, Visual Inspection Would Be Documented In The Form Of Worksheets, Photographic Records, And Distress Over Drawings Etc, Distress Mapping, Drawing Preparation If Required , Concrete Core S Le: Chemical Analysis And Compressive Strength Of Concrete Core S Le Collected From The Structure As Per Is:516 In The Laboratory To Know Presence Of Chemically Concrete Deteriorating Agents Such (Chloride, Ph, Sulphate), Degradation Evaluation Of Concrete Properties And Its Effect On Reinforcement Corrosion. , Rebound Hammer : For Determining The Estimated Compressive Strength Of Concrete And Uniformity Of Concrete In Terms Of Surface Hardness As Per Is 13311 (Part-2)-1992, Astm C 805-02, Bs 6089:1981 And Bs 1881: Part 202, Bsen:13791, Also Establishing Correlation Chart Between Rebound Hammer And Other Confirmatory Test For Estimated In-Situ Strength Of Concrete If Required. 1 Quantity Should Be Considered As 9 Location Of Rebound Hammer (6 Points In 150 Mm X150 Mm Grid) In One Square Meter Including The Surface Preparation & Marking The Test Location Over The Drawing , Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity Test: For Ascertaining The Quality Of Concrete, Soundness And Density Of Concrete, Uniformity Of Concrete In Terms Of Density As Per Is 13311 (Part-1)-1992, Astm: C597-83, Bs 6089: 1981 Uspv And Bs 1881: Part 203 And Bs En:13791. 1 Quantity Should Be Considered As 9 Location Of Uspv In One Square Meter Including The Surface Preparation & Marking The Test Location Over The Drawing , Half Cell Potential Test : Measuring The Half Cell Potential Readings With Wheel Electrode At The Nodes Of Pre-Marked Grid Points On Concrete Surface In A Suitable Grid For Determining The Probability Of Corrosion Activity Of Embedded Steel Reinforcement In Concrete With Specified Half Cell Electrode In Accordance With Astm C876-1980 After Moistening The Concrete Surface With Water.
